A/N: Still looking for my motivation to write, but here is a little something.

Mason POV

Scarlett and I made our way down to the pool and I wiggled free from her grasp. She gently set me down and I immediately dove head first into the water. I heard Scarlett yell for me as I came above the water and swam to the side she was at.

"Mason! Do you know how panicked Elise would be if she saw what you just did?" Scarlett yelled at me causing my lip to tremble.

"I'm sorry." I managed out and she sighed as she brushed her hair back.

Sitting on the edge of the pool she looked at me sadly.

"I didn't mean to yell at you sweetie. I should be the one apologizing, I'm sorry. All I had running through my head was everything my wife would be thinking. I shouldn't have yelled at you." Scarlett said as she brushed some of the wet hair out of my face.

I smiled softly at her actions, "It's okay." I said as I swam around for awhile waiting on Elise.

Finally Elise came down to the pool. "It's about time Lisee! You're so slow!" I yelled to her and she just shrugged before walking down the steps and into the pool towards me.

"Someone's feeling energetic I see." Elise said with a chuckle. I nodded real big as I swam circles around her.

"I love swimming!" I shouted gleefully as Scarlett came back out and into the pool with us.

"Scar!" I yelled out as I jumped into her arms. She was shocked to say the least but held onto me tightly.

Elise fake pouted as Scarlett spun in circles with me causing me to giggle. I saw her pouting and wiggled out of Scarlett's grasp.

"No pout Lisee." I told her as I swam into her open arms. She smiled as she held me close.

"Well isn't this a sight?" I heard a familiar voice talk. I looked to the side of the pool and saw my mom.

I quickly left Elise's arms and swam to the edge of the pool and into my moms open arms that were holding open a towel.

I giggled as I made my way into her embrace. "How'd you know I was going to do that?" I asked her and she kissed my forehead.

"Because I know my baby." Mom told me with a smile. I looked back out to Elise who looked rather sad. She gave me a forced smile when I looked her way.

"I already dropped off your clothes in your new room. Just wanted to see you one more time before I left. I love you baby." Mom said as she gave me another hug and a kiss.

"I love you too mom!" I shouted as she started to walk away. She turned around and waved to all of us.

I turned back around and ran towards the pool. I jumped up and cannonballed into the pool splashing both Elise and Scarlett. I came back above water and both women didn't look happy to my laughing.

Scarlett spoke first, "What did I say about you doing that?" She scolded this time and something triggered in me. My lip trembled and I swam towards Elise who immediately held onto me.

"I sorry Scar." I told her while my eyes watered. I then tucked my head into the crook of Elise's neck.

"Shit, I'm sorry Mason. I didn't mean to do it again. I just really don't want you to hurt yourself." Scarlett tried and failed to console me.

I sobbed quietly into Elise's neck as she rocked me back and forth. "Shh, my darling girl you are alright. Scarlett is only trying to protect you." Elise said quietly as she held me tightly. Once I calmed down we made our way out of the water.

Elise sat down with me in her lap as I stayed cuddled into her embrace.

I laid my head against her chest and sighed. I smiled slightly seeing Scar approaching us.

"I sorry for crying Scar, no mean to make you sad too." I told her once I saw how upset she had looked.

She gave me a sad smile and shook her head, "No need to apologize little one. We are still new to all of this. It'll get better with time."

"Madam President, we need you." One of Elise's secret service men said as they walked towards us. Scarlett immediately pulled me out of Elise's lap causing me to sob out for her.

Scarlett set me on her hip and quietly tried to settle me down. "I know sweetie, but she needs to do her job. She will be back I promise." Scarlett said as she rubbed circles on my back.

Eventually she walked me up to my bedroom where I started to quiet down. "Wan Lisee." I whined and Scarlett sighed.

"I know sweet girl. She'll be back when she can be." Scarlett told me as she laid me down in bed.

"Cuddles?" I questioned and she gave me a small smile before climbing into bed with me. I immediately scooted closer to where my head was on her chest. She wrapped her arms around me and held me close.

Kissing my forehead she spoke quietly. "Try to get some sleep sweetie." I nodded as I slowly dozed off. The upsets from today making me tired.
