"Your room is amazing!" he says while looking around.
"You really think so?" I ask while I walk over to my bed and set my purse down.
"Yeah totally! I wish my room was this awesome." he says.
"Thanks." I smile "I just need to change out of my clothes real fast. Make yourself comfortable." I say and walk over to my closet.
I find a pair of sweatpants and a comfy sweater and throw them on. I walk out of my closet and put my hair up into a messy bun.
I look and see Jack admiring the records I have hanging on my wall.
"Hey" I say to get his attention.
"Oh hey, these are sick." he says to me then looks back over at the wall.
"Yeah I think so too, are you into music?" I ask him.
"Totaly, I love music! It's like my escape when life gets to crazy." he says then looks back at me.
"That's how it is for me too. Music is a way to express myself in ways I never thought I could." I say honestly and look deep into his eyes. "I heard you singing the other day at school, you have the most beautiful voice." He says and his lips for a smile across his beautiful face.
I looked down at my feet and didn't know what to say.
"What's wrong? Did I say something?" He asks worriedly.
"It's nothing." I lie and continue to look down.
Jack grabs my chin and lifts it up so I would look at him again, "Talk to me. What's wrong?" he says sternly but caring at the same time.
I take a deep breath. "I'm just not used to getting compliments from people other than my mom about my music." I say and look back into his eyes.
He lets go of my chin and grabs both my hands. "Y/n, you need to understand that you have a gift and you need to share it with the world. The people that may talk bad about your talent are just jealous because you are so amazing." he says.
I had no words.
