"Mommy! Look what I got you!" The sweet sound of a cub's voice filled my ears with a pleasant sound. I tilt my head and noticed a small cub sprinting toward me with a big smile. I felt my body tense as my eyes squeezed shut expecting the worst. Instead, little arms wrapped around my waist bringing me into a hug? My eyes flickered open and gazed down at the cub puzzled. What was this small creature doing? What am I suppose to do?

Mimicking the small cub's movements, I hugged them. It didn't last long because the cub leaped from my arms with bright shining eyes. Getting a closer look at the cub, it wasn't a normal one instead one of those bipedal creatures called "Humans or man." This must be one of their cubs, such a strange creature indeed. "Mommy, I saw these pretty flowers in the grass! I picked you some because Daddy says you give pretty flowers to pretty ladies!" the human cub shoved a bundle of vibrant wildflowers into my paws.

Mommy? The human cub is calling me that, is this cub one of my own? When did I have a cub?! My eyes drift downward at the bundle of flowers as I felt my blood run cold. These weren't my paws, instead, they were human paws with their odd five claws. Stunned to silence, I didn't take notice of the human cub tugging at my arm. My eyes flickered down to the cub and the background melted away into the inside of one of the human dens. I've once been in a human den and it was quite scary since it was covered with animal furs and bones. Why do humans kill for fun instead of only for food? Don't they know the prey will run scarce if overhunted? Foolish.

The human cub pulled me along which I hesitantly followed. The cub leads me in front of a tall reflection pool. I gasped as the reflection wasn't my own. I was greeted by a human female with long/short (h/c) hair that flowed down the neck, and her eyes were bright (e/c) and they sparkled with kindness. The human female dressed in dirty cloth and everything about her had a soft glow. Yet, when I made the simplest movement, the human female followed. Why was she copying me!?

"Mommy? Are you ok?" The human child asked while staring up at me innocently. Before I could say anything, the entrance of the human den opened up revealing a larger human male. His face was a blur, yet his presence felt familiar. He approached me and scooped the cub into his arms. "Well, looks like my two favorite people in the world are here, my lovely wife and my lovely boy!" the male purred as he planted a peck on the human cub's cheek. The male turned to me and I could feel a radiant smile on his face despite it being a blurry mess. He stepped close to me causing me to step back.

My feet stayed planted on the ground as the male embraced me in a warm hug. When our human paws met, there was an electric spark causing my whole being to tremble. Why did this feel so familiar? The pleasant laughter of both the cub and his father made my heart swell with an unknown feeling. It felt warm and fuzzy. I felt like I knew who these two were and they surely had to be someone close to me right?

"(Y/n)" the male spoke my name as the rest of his voice was a rambling mess. How did the male know my name?! No one has called me that for a long time. Suddenly, I lost my footing and tumbled onto the floor below. The floodgates burst open as memories gushed outwardly. My brain swirled with locked away memories projecting itself to me in short movie clips. Tears well up in my eyes and my heart ached. I could see the worried look in both their eyes, which only prompted me to hug them a little bit tighter.
