(March 2nd, 2005)
I could stay here forever watching the stars, they are so beautiful and unique its cool how they are actually bigger than what they seem to be down on Earth. I notice something in the corner of my eye which causes me to stand up getting ready to run
"Neveah" my name sounded like it was being called from behind me which causes me to turn around and see a lady which causes me to let out a scream in surprise.
"Who are you-" The lady raises her hand "I don't have much time I just want to say how sorry I am for what's coming in the future," The lady pauses and looks directly at me with a piercing look but for some reason, a smile spreads across her face
"just try and work through it alright you will have people who will try and help you, let them, you must no matter how hard it will just try and work through it and most of all always believe in yourself and trust your gut." I stare at the lady confused "What are you even talking about-?"
The lady smiles sadly at me "oh Neveah... your too young you don't deserve this but all will be shown in the end...."
Anger starts to fill me since the lady won't explain herself "Lady what are you even talking about your literally confusing make sense!" She starts to disappear "you will know in due time...."
I wake up gasping for breath, that must have been a good dream if I can't even remember it
*thud*
"stupid blanket." I groan out
6:40 am the clock read yay I have time to take a shower its around 7:20 ish when I step out of the bathroom done with all the things I needed to do, I start putting on my shoes when I hear a faint knocking sound fill the air
"NEVEAH, ITS CLAIRE!" I hear my grandma yell which makes me sigh since she doesn't even have to yell
"Coming!" I hurry up and finish tying my shoes and rush to my door while picking my bookbag up I see my grandmother and Claire talking "alright im ready." Claire says bye and walks out the door
I rush over to my grandmother "Bye grandma love you and please make sure your ready before 2:30 ok? love you byeeee!"
"Love you too!"

I yawn as I look at the time 11:05, 'great' I think to myself "why can't time go faster?" I mumble aloud as I start to zone out again.
"Ok class it's time to go to lunch!" The teacher hollers, making the kids whoop, and holler in excitement due to being trapped in the boring class for what it seems like forever.
"Neveah!!" I only have a second to brace myself before my friend comes at my full force, "yes Claire." I say while sighing dramatically, "you didn't wait for me at the doors like usual which made me scared you ditched without me leaving me here in this boring hell hole!" She says while throwing her hands around which makes me watch her with amusement "no, the line was longer than usual so I decided to get in line so that way we would have a spot."
Her face makes an O shape
I watch as Claire bites into her apple, noticing her trying to contain her fidgeting which makes me sigh. "Ok so what do you need to tell me?"
I see a small smirk on her lips but is gone as quickly as it came, "I thought you would never ask." Which makes me smile and play along with her little game.
"Come on Claire I know you wanna tell me something so what is it?" I could see her trying to conceal her excitement but losing in the end.
"Ok so basically I talked to Seth today!" She says while gushing, which makes me immediately bust out laughing
"Your that happy over it?" I say trying to conceal my laughter which makes her scowl at me "yes in fact." I burst out laughing "are you serious that's all you wanted to tell me?" I say while laughing between breaths
"Neveah!"
"Ok, ok I'm sorry for laughing alright?"
Claire gives me a look
"Ok, ok I will stop alright?
She makes a mhm sound, but changes the subject. "Did you hear about Forks police finding another dead body in the woods?" I stop biting on my apple and stare at her for a moment "that's terrible.." I start off "do they know what causing it?" Claire rolls her eyes
"No, there're saying it's another bear attack but we both know there is no way." Growing up me and Claire were always reading the quilet tribal stories about people who could transform into wolves to protect the people and land from the 'cold ones' but my name for them is vampires.
"You think it's vampires?" I ask curiously while lowering my voice, she nods
"Yeah because they are finding the bodies with teeth marks and drained of blood," she too says while whispering which makes me start thinking
"True but it's so weird because I thought we ran them out." She smiles which pipes my curiosity on what she's about to say, "yeah but I was reading a book and apparently a vampire coven actually moved here and made a treaty with the wolves, and apparently these vampires feed on animals not humans!" She takes a breath
"The thing is these are most likely normad vampires and not the vampire coven that lives in Forks-" I nod in agreement "your most likely right because The Cullens have that orange yellow eye color still and the vampires mentioned in the book are told to have red eyes due to feeding on humans." She nods
You see as I mentioned me and Claire read the quiulet tribal book and well we whole heartedly believe in them and I happen to notice that Dr. Cullen who is my grandmas doctor was weird and was almost exactly fitting the description of the cold ones in the book which lead us to believe they are the vampire coven that lives in Forks you might be wondering aren't you scared well no I was worried but he was different in a sense compared to the vampires described in the book so yes I trust him but I don't know how his 'children' are
"I just feel bad you know cause we can't even do anything to stop them since it's obvious that there are no wolves around to stop them..." Claire says while trailing off with a far away look.
I watch her in pity knowing how she feels
"Oh Claire I know it sucks but we can't really do anything.." I say while stroking her head "I know but I just wish we could you know because what if one day that's one of us who is on the news channel or one of the people we know or love-"
"Your right but look at us Claire we're only 9 and 10 years old what are we even going to do?" I feel Claire sigh against me
"I know I just wish we could do something." She says while mumbling
Me and Claire were silent afterwards, listening to kids laughing and talking with no care in the world, silently wishing we were like that.
The bell rings signaling its time for 6th period, "come on Claire we only have two more periods just try and make it through them for now alright?" She nods
We both pick up our stuff and throw away our trash on the way out while walking in silence, " I'll see you later alright?" When we get near each other's classrooms I faintly hear her mumble an ok which causes me to look at her in worry but go in the classroom
