I've been working on From the Inside since 2013, my plan was to have it finished by the end of that year but sadly didn't. So, I made a new goal to finish it by the end of 2014, again nothing.
But since studying at JMC Academy, it had given me a fresh mindset to look at this story again.
I hope I did okay, I hope you all loved my story and I thank you for the comments you have left.
I spent the almost the entire month of May 2021 working on this trying to make it sound better than my first million drafts I had failed to finish over the course of the years since 2013.
The inspiration for From the Inside came from Alice Cooper (which is why there is a character acknowledging him..sorta), he has an album of the same name "From the Inside", when I first heard the album I was reading his biography Golf Monster and he revealed the album was inspired by his final experience inside of rehab where he finally kicked his alcohol addiction.
When I read that, I had this image of my story in my head and began to write it down. I borrowed Alice Cooper's character, tweaked them a little and created this world.
So, I am in debt to Alice Cooper for opening my mind up.
