Dream ran away from the palace and through  a forest and found a small mushroom house (hence the title) he met a boy. That boy is George but they didn't get eachothers names. They kissed and now Dream's father is helping him find the boy. Dream wants to propose.

George's POV

It had been almost a month since the mysterious man had turned up at my door

A month since I fell in love with a stranger

A month since he left without even telling me his name

Who the fuck did he think he was?

Cinderella or some shit!?

My Cinderella... NO!

I couldn't help but be angry that he left as quickly as he appeared but there was so much more than anger

Is it possible to both hate someone and love them?

I took a drink of my tea, my thoughts running wild.

Dreams POV

I rode my horse desperately through the forest, trying to find my way back to the mushroom house.

Its like it had just disappeared

My father was speaking but I don't know what about,I was to busy with my own thoughts

As the wind blew in my face I felt a fear run down my cheek, tasting the salt inlet more fall until my vision started to blur and I had to slow down to wipe my face.

It was only then, now that I had slowed down, that I seen it.

A subtle flash of red behind a tree.

I quickly turned and went towards it, a small chimney coming into view, then the red walls, the wooden supports and roof.

I jumped off of my horse, Carl, running forwards o the door of the house.

I remember when I first got Carl,

**I was out in the woods when... a... Man? Pig?... Someone walked up to me, limping slightly with a smile on his face

Id walked up to the creature to check if he was okay. Before I got much closer to the man he'd drew his sword, pointing it straight at me and whispering

'you are going to take this horse. And tell nobody you seen me' the man had instructed before vanishing into the trees**

I shook my head and focused back on the door, knocking three times loudly before backing up, the sun on my back

The door opened just as hesitantly as it had when I first got here but when he looked up at me he threw it all the way open and just stared.

"Hi" I whispered

He took a minute to reply "y-you came back?"
