"Your brother has covid."
Elle stared at him, unmoving.
"Wait, shit, have you been crying?" Ben noticed her red-rimmed eyes and quickly grew concerned.
"It's nothing."
"Is everything okay?"
"I just could really use a hug right now and I can't go to my brother because now he has COVID. When did you even find out?"
"Two nights ago. The gaffer sent out an email telling us." Ben stared at her. "Did you not know?"
Elle nodded her head, Kai hadn't told her. "Did I give it to him?"
"No, someone on the catering staff had it here and probably gave it to him." Elle nodded again, sniffling more and Ben's mouth fell into a frown. "I'm coming over to give you a hug."
Before Elle could even question him the Facetime call was over and Ben was on his way.
