Caine was walking through the city. He was looking at people rushing to works and shops. Then he decided to go to less crowded street and put mask on.
After getting mask on he climbed on top of some house and walked there.
After some time he saw group of wraiths. He jumped off of roof and ran to attack them.
While he was able to slashed one, other changed shapes and turned into humans.
One was about Caine's age.
He realized that they were propably killing people, which couldn't change to better.
He put his katana down.
But then.
Wraiths changed back to their normal form laughing evily.
And one quicly stabbed Caine in stomach.
Caine fell to his knees.
He felt adrenaline rush giving him some strength, but he knew he will lose it quickly.
He got off his knees and slashed two wraiths and then jumped and did it on three other. Adrenaline was already stopping working.
As last wraith fell, he fell.
There was no one who could help him right now.
He tried to push himself to get up, but he was way too weak. He couldn't think clearly right now too.
And then, overwhelming tiredness got over him.
Last thing he saw was some imp-ish character put something white on his head and he felt warmth going from it. He opened his eyes to see paws of white wolf instead of hands.
He shape shifted into wolf.
