Level 2: Breath of Love

(Narrator POV:)

Y/N falls through the portal as he crashes onto the ground and pokes his head out of the ground "Ouch..." He groans and stands up as his remote control buzzes again, he looks at it to see there's an update so he clicks on it

Update Complete! You've unlocked multiple new features. Would you like to change your current outfit?

Y/N shrugs and changes his outfit to the Hylian Armour set with the hood, tunic, and trousers. He pulls the hood down and smiles He makes his way towards Hyrule castle. 

He arrives outside the massive gates and pushes them open only to be stopped by two guards "What are you doing here!? You're not allowed inside the castle!" Y/N holds his hands up "My mistake, I was just coming here to train. I heard of the oncoming darkest day and thought you may need more men?" The guards look at each other and look back at Y/N. The lower their spears "Head to the king. He will fit you with the equipment needed." He nods and goes to the king's room to see him on the throne.

Y/N bows down "Stand and speak your reason to be here." Y/N does as told, "I'm here to sign-up to be a member of the royal castle." Y/N explains as the king raises an eyebrow "A knight?" He questions as Y/N nods "I would like to be a knight." Impa walks over and stands beside Y/N "Impa here will train you on her training grounds. Please follow her." Y/N does as told and follows Impa to the training grounds.

When training was over, Y/N notices the princess getting yelled at by the king as she rushed back to her room as the king turns and walks away. Y/N was currently alone on the training field so he climbs up the side of the tower and knocks on Zelda's door "Go away, father!" Y/N opens the door as she turns "I said- Ah!-" She pulls back in shock as Y/N lowers his hood "Hey, want an apple?" Y/N walks over and hands her an apple. She takes it and looks at him "You're the new knight, aren't you?" He nods as he smiles at her. Zelda smiles back "You must be sick of being stuck up in this tower, huh?" "Oh, you have no idea" Zelda groans as she turns to her books, Y/N looks over to see pictures of great warriors fighting and explorers climbing mountains "I wish I could go outside and see what was there...legend has it that in Korok forest there lies a blade to pierce the darkness." Y/N gets an idea "Do you have anything fit to explore? I don't think you can go outside in a dress." She turns to him "What are you planning?" Y/N climbs up on Zelda's desk and sits by the window "I'm gonna get you outside." Zelda stands up "I can't leave! What if father finds out?" Zelda panics as Y/N looks at her "You want to waste your life away up here because of some dumb prophecy?" Zelda contemplates it for a moment...

Soon enough! Y/N and Zelda were seen gliding down out of the tower. They land outside the castle as Zelda giggles "That was so much fun! I feel so adventurous! Where to?" Y/N points towards Korok forest to the south side of the castle "Let's go see if that legend is real." Zelda nods as she whistles for her horse and it comes over. The 2 of them climb on and ride over to the forest. They arrive outside of the foggy forest "Let's go..." Y/N hops off the horse as Zelda follows. She holds onto Y/N's hand and squeezes it tightly "Are you scared?" Y/N jokes as Zelda shakes her head "The princess is never scared!" The two of them enter the forest as Y/N lights a torch and explores the forest deeper "Do you know where you're going?" Zelda asks as she grips onto Y/N's arm. Y/N shrugs "Kinda." Y/N finds a narrow hallway of cliffs as he walks down it with Zelda. They see the light of the sun shining from the other side of the hallway as they go over to see Legends turned real.

The master sword stabbed into the ground as the Great Deku Tree was over it "Hmmm? Visitors? Why...I've not seen visitors in a while...What brings you here, young ones?" The Great Deku Tree questions the newly arrived visitors as Y/N bows down respectively so Zelda does the same "Hohoho. Please do not be so formal. I mean you know harm." The Great Deku Tree remarks with a chuckle as the two of them stand up. Y/N goes towards the blade as he admires it with the Great Deku Tree seeing his interest "You wish to attempt to pull the sword out...?" Y/N steps back "Not me...her." Y/N turns to Zelda as she hops up to the blade without question "Yes. I am Princess Zelda of Hyrule! I wish to pull the sword from the stone." The Great Deku Tree chuckles once again "Hohoho. I cannot decide that fate for you, princess. Only the sword can decide that fate."  Zelda grabs onto the sword "Like this?" Zelda questions as the Great Deku tree remains silent. Y/N helps her get into the stance with Zelda blushing "T-thank you, Y/N. But I can take it from here..." Zelda starts to pull on the sword as she is immediately struck with a wave of pain! She lets the sword go as she rubs her hands "Ow! I-it harmed me!" Zelda squeals as her hands are red from the pain. Y/N looks around for something to help heal it "Princess...please understand that if you cannot brave through the pain you're not worthy of wielding the sword...The sword is only for those who are brave enough." The Great Deku Tree informs Zelda as the princess wallows in shame at her failure...she feels as if she is not brave enough and is a failure because of that "You...What say you?" Y/N looks at the tree as he wraps leaves around Zelda's hand-wound "M-me? I dunno...I'm not brave." The Great Deku Tree thinks for a moment "You are not from this world, are you? I sense an otherworldly power from you. You fear that if you pull out the sword you may affect our world." Y/N nodded slowly "Fear not, young one. For I believe you will, in fact, save this world from what is due." Y/N steps up the pedestal as Zelda sits on the grass and looks closely...She doesn't believe that Y/N is worthy. Or is that her jealously not wanting him to be worthy?

Y/N tugs on the sword as a bright light flashes from the sword! The pain is like his entire body is being crushed from all sides but he keeps pulling. Blood sprays from Y/N's mouth as he is eventually able to pull the sword halfway out its pedestal! Zelda stands up as the Great Deku Tree is intrigued by this! Y/N pulls it out with all his might as he feels all the pain go away, the blood vanishing from his mouth as he raises the Master Sword into the air. 

YOU GOT THE MASTER SWORD

This weapon will now move to your inventory. You can use it to seal any enemies who have dark energy from them. 

The Great Deku Tree rejoices from his moment! "Ahhh...Y/N. I'm so happy to see you pull this sword from the stone. You are worthy..." Y/N swings the sword around as he spins it around his finger then grabs it with his hand "I got the hang of this! Thank you, Great Deku Tree." Zelda is heard running off as Y/N follows her "Z-Zelda?! Hey! Zelda are you-" Zelda turns around as Y/N stops in his tracks "...You...wanted this?" Y/N asks as Zelda nods with tears in her eyes. She wipes them away "I just wanted to prove I could be worthy of the princess title..." Zelda holds her hands over her face to hide the tears "You don't need to prove anything to your father!" She takes her head out of her hands "This isn't about him! It's about me...I don't know if...I'm good enough." Y/N holds her hands and brushes her hair back as Zelda looks at him "You are good enough. You don't need to try things that aren't you to be worthy of. Just try things that ARE you." Y/N motivates her as Zelda questions "What am I good at though...?" Y/N chuckles at Zelda's question "You're cute...smart. And you are determined...excited over the smallest things. Every outfit you wear somehow makes you look better." Zelda moves in as she kisses Y/N's lips. Y/N kisses back as the two of them share a small gentle kiss "You're also a good kisser~" Y/N comments as Zelda giggles and wipes her tails away "We should tell the others of your victory-" "Not yet." Y/N cuts Zelda off "Why?" Zelda questions "I have to go...You heard the Great Deku Tree. I'm not meant to be here. I must go but I will return." Zelda nods as she steps back with Y/N opening up a new portal "You will be back for the fight against Ganon, will you not?" Y/N nods as he walks through the portal. Onto the next level.
