Level 3: Metroid: Love

(Reader POV:)

I land down on my feet as I look around at the desolate land surrounding me. Dust blew by as a city glowed in the distance. I turned away to see if anything else was around when I came face to face with a cannon to my face! I raise my hands up! "DON'T SHOOT-" The cannon glows as I dive out the way and it fires! Luckily, the shot missed but it was getting ready to fire again! I get up and run away to avoid the shots being fired at me! 

As I run I trip over something "What the hell did I trip over?! There's nothing on this-" I look to see a bomb at my feet "Fu-" The bomb explodes as I go flying "UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-" I crash onto the ground and land at the metallic feet of an armored warrior of some kind "-ck..." I stand up and smile as the warrior stares at me "We got off on the wrong foot. I'm not a bad guy!" I try to clarify as the warrior turns away "Uhm...Should I come along?" I ask as I follow the warrior. They don't stop me so I come along with them to their ship.

I step into their ship as the warrior takes off their helmet to reveal their face. It's a girl with flowing blond hair tied in a ponytail! She turns to me "Samus." She says as I raise an eyebrow "Huh?" "My name. It's Samus." I chuckle and hold my hand out "I'm Y/N!" She ignores my hand and walks to the cockpit so she can pilot the ship. I walk over to sit down beside her "Where are we going?" "To drop off my bounty." She points to a prison cell that has an electrical wall keeping the wanted person inside "Nice...So you're a bounty hunter?" I wasn't a big fan of Metroid but I knew who Samus was and I thought she was a fine gal. I finally had a chance to know her some more. "You got armor?" She asks as I pat my body and shrug "Uh...hehe, no. Sorry." Samus turned back to the front of her ship "We'll buy you some." Samus took off as I sat down and looked around. Samus takes a deep breath in and lets out a long sigh "Are you good?" I asked and Samus turned to me "What?" "Oh, you just sounded frustrated." Samus shrugged and shook her head "I'm good." I gave a gentle nod and laid back, thinking about how awkward this was.

(Writer POV)

You tapped your foot and hummed a song "What is that?" Samus asked as you turned quizzically "Huh? Oh, it's a song I'm into." You sang the lyrics as Samus giggled "That's an odd song..." You crossed your arms "I think it's cool." Samus shrugs "Whatever you say." Samus started to hum the song you were humming. You snickered as Samus realizes "Huh? O-Oh darn! It's...it's a bit catchy." Samus turns her head away "So you do like it?" Samus put the ship on auto-pilot and stood up "W-whatever..." Samus takes her armor off and puts it into a container. You turned back to see her in her iconic blue tight suit "How can you wear that?" You asked as Samus sat down in her seat "No underwear, you should try it." You blushed and rubbed your head "I'm not wearing underwear either..." Samus chuckled "It's comfy, isn't it?" You laid back in relief "Is something wrong?" Samus asked as you shook your head "Whenever I say I don't wear Underwear everyone leaves me." Samus stood up "Don't worry, I'm not like others." She headed to the back of her ship "Hungry?" You stood up quickly "Oh hell yeah I am!" Samus opens a container and pulled out a packet of boiled food "Ah- It's hot!" Samus sat down and opened it "Of course it is, I got this from a magma planet." You sat back down and opened it to see...pasta? Just...regular pasta "Do you not like it?" Samus asked and you shook your head and started to eat with a plastic fork. You enjoyed it! 

As you both ate and talked, the ship started to change course! You stood up and threw the empty packet away as you looked around the ship "What is it?" Samus got up and threw her empty packet away. You shrugged when the ship started flying towards a forest planet "Does this thing have emergency landing!?" "No!" You held onto whatever you could as the ship crashed into the planet. The ship got shredded apart by a bunch of trees as you were pulled out and went crashing across the ground "Ow..." You checked your health, it was down halfway but apparently the pasta you ate restored your health over time. You got up and ran to where the ship had crashed down.

"Samus!? Samus!?" You shouted as the ship was completely shredded into pieces. From the wreckage came the captured bounty "Oh crap-" "YOU!" The bounty shouted as he walked closer "You were the one that captured me! Without that suit of armour, you might as well be useless!" You stepped backwards "That's a bit of a wide assumption- WOAH!" The guy rushed at you with incredible speeds! He had great agility. Jumping, running and spinning all over the place! He rushed and punched you in the gut and then slammed you into the ground before kneeing you in the face and punching you into a tree "Ow..." The guy ran at you and pulled his fist back ready to throw a punch! You dodged and drew the Master Sword from your inventory "Haha!" You laughed confidently as the guy rushed at you once again and punched you in the gut "You have no idea how to use that do you?" The bounty asked as you got up slowly "Well...it looked easier on TV." You swung the sword at him! You were able to cut the bounty but he got aggressive and rushed at you to punch you across the face! Sending you into the ground "C'mon you were a lot more athletic back on the other planet! Where's your spunk?!" You checked your health to see you were almost dead "Fuck..." You got back up "One sec..." You opened up your inventory and ate a random slice of bread "What...what is this?" "It heals me..." The bounty crossed his arms and waited for you to finish "Done?" he asked as you nodded "Yeah, yeah I'm done."

You swung the sword around and also threw it around to try and confuse him but you had to be careful not to grab the sharp end! You then swung at him once again as the bounty flipped backwards "You can't touch me!" "Maybe I can." The bounty turned to see Samus, Samus kicked the bounty across the face and knocked him out cold "Nice sword." She complimented with a wink "Now c'mon, I called support, they'll pick us up." You put the sword away and rubbed your head "About that, I'm kinda busy. I've got somewhere to be." You opened up your teleporter and Samus grabbed your shirt "You could've used that the whole time!?" You held your arms up "W-wait! Wait! It's only for planets I've actually been to!" Samus dropped you "I see..." You dusted yourself off and fixed your shirt "Plus I didn't wanna accidentally teleport you or the ship with me." Samus held your shoulder "You're a good fighter...I hope we meet again." You gave her a thumbs up "We will!" Samus kissed your forehead "For good luck." Samus turned and headed back to her ship, you walked over "Shouldn't I give you a kiss for good luck too?" Samus chuckled and turned around "I don't need it~" Samus headed to where the ships were coming to pick her up. You teleported away and off to the next world you went...
