[Protagonist POV]
"Quick! His vitals are dropping."
" Honey, is he going to live?" frantically said another voice, reaching my face.
.
.
"We couldn't save two of them, we gotta save this boy at least. I'm going to use that revival technique. Put your screen right there and keep informing me of his activity."
"He might have trouble in his upbringing.."
.
.
"Are you okay, son?" staring said a figure as if it was looking into my eyes.

'Strange dream,' I murmured and looked around, it was midnight, crickets chirping. The air in my room felt odd, shadows lingering in a corner, something was amiss today. I felt a presence lurking in the corner. Its eyes shone in amethyst purple flames, peering right into my eyes. Shit! It was real and it reached out with black threads supposedly its arms.
I shrieked out, "Nooo..."
My granddad came up running towards my room with an iron rod, looking around curiously he asked,
"What's the matter?"
"I...I think there's something, an arcane figure looking at me, it had these purple eyes and... it reached out to my neck... It tried to murder me. I think", I ran beside him, pointing my finger to the corner.
"It was right there.." with a shiver in my tone.
Grandpa made eye contact, "Are you sure it was a nightmare?"
"NO! It was real, I felt it. It had threads..black threads on my neck trying to suffocate me to death."
Grandad looked at me and said, "Look son, sleep peacefully. Nightmares happen to us when we are worried about stuff. I am sure you will be alright. You have a seminar tomorrow. Be with a cool head my boy."
"Alright", I put the blanket over my face, teeth clenched because he didn't believe me. He sat by my side reassuring himself that I was safe and went downstairs.
I pulled up my smartphone and texted Rami, my friend
Hey, are you awake?
Rami texted back - Worried about the seminar?
No just checking up on you. Have you completed the slides?
Yes, I have.
Good Night. I gotta get up early.
Okay, Good Night. Let's rock it tomorrow.
I woke up to the alarm ringing and got into my formal attire.'God, I hate formals. '
Our professor suggested it be professional and told us it would give us a gist of corporate seminars. This was our third semester and we had to develop a project under the guidance of a visiting professor at our college.
Our college was huge, with a lush green campus and sports arenas for different games. I particularly like to play badminton in the evenings. The air felt oddly cold today, my mind was unsettled. As I walked along the entrance of the college I realized that I had forgotten my project material that had to be submitted. There was no time. The drive would take thirty minutes at least and I have to come back to college.
