If I have to listen too this hoe sing for any longer I will turn myself into road kill, thought clementine. After driving 4 hours at this at this point all 5 of the girls were starting to become agitated even the most peaceful of them all, clementine. Desiree was always kind of oblivious I guess adhd will do that to you.

At least they had finally entered Kansas . The flat green surface that was Kansas was all ways interesting at first but soon staring at cows and blue sky grew to be incredibly boring. Logan hummed a soft tune under her breath. As soon as hour 2 hit so did her car sickness but she wasn't one too verbally complain especially around these girls. She was only here for her bestfriend clementine.

Now they were about 30 minutes out from there destination. Rose could see dark clouds rolling in and was beginning too become nervous. She volunteered too drive the last little leg of the trip because she assumed it would be easy but could feel her heart pounding quickly in her chest. She was terrified of storms. " Does anyone want to drive the rest of the way?", said rose very quietly, eyes wide and face flushed.

Melissa glanced over to the passenger seat and could see her distress but also thought she needed too grow up. What type of grown adult couldn't drive threw a storm? she thought to herself. The rest of the silent car could now hear Rose's labored breathing. Clementine glanced at both Logan and Desiree beside her and since it looked as though neither one of them was going to be volunteering she whispered too rose to pull over.

Rose spotted what looked too be an abandoned gas station a few feet up ahead and pulled in. Her and clementine hopped out too switch and when they went too change places clementine heard a noise...." Did you hear that?", rose glanced at clementine and nodded her head. Both girls eyes wide and hearts pounding glanced around their surroundings. 

Melissa leaned out the window frustrated at them both, " what are you guys doing? we could have been there by now!" The girls glanced at her and then at each other and began too get back in the car. Only they knew what they had heard. As soon as the doors on the little black kia slammed shut torrential downpour erupted out of the sky. Lightening, hail, and the clouds seemed even seemed too grow darker.

They hopped back on the road. " What the actual fuck is going on? I checked the weather and this storm came out of no where! " said Logan. With every inch the car made, her stomach churned more and more. Rose tucked her head into her legs and stuck her headphones in too tune out the storm she was on the verge of a panic attack.

Clementine was hunched over the steering wheel eyes squinted through her glasses and peeled on the road. The windshield wipers doing the best they could but giving her barely any visibility. She could sense all the girls fear even Melissa's although she pretended too have zero emotions. Clementine could handle the storm but that noise... wasn't right. It had shaken something in her and it was taking everything in her not too turn around and go home.   

Although she was scared her damn self she tried too sooth the girls, " The resort should be popping up any second and as soon as we get there we can relax and...". Her words were cut off by a powerful clap in the sky the lightening hit right in front of them. 

Clementine swerved the car to the left as the girls all screamed. Rose yelled," God please don't kill me like this! ill do anything! I wont ever have sex again"! As clementine adjusted the car she burst into laughter and the other girls did as well.

Desiree said, " Really Roe? That's what you offer up? bahahah not the coke addiction". Rose side eyed her and tucked her head back down while the other girls giggled under there breath.

" Is that the place right there", said Logan while point out the window at a beautiful building on top of a hill. Clementine said, " yeah I think I see the sign". And right at the end of the road was a medium sized purple sign that had little white letters that said Exodus Resort.
