~Andy's Point Of View~

School ended at 2:55 here, and I was waiting, tapping my foot, looking at the clock. Sage said that she wanted to go somewhere today, and she keeps bringing up that she was using her "Big Dog Privileges" since I'm usually with her when she's out.

The clock has one more minute. I started to get impatient. So I sat my head on my fist. Only for the bell to ring immediately. I went to my locker, and grabbed my bag, then went to Sages locker to pick her up to go to the busses. We got on, and rode home, the bus driver occasionally stopping to drop kids off until our stop, which we hopped off, and went to our houses to put our bags up, she changed into something "comfortable" and we told our parents where we were going, but I went to her house to get her, just so her mom knew she was safe.

I knocked on the door, and her mother answered.
"Evening Mrs. Alayna." I said, as she smiled and answered back. "Hello Andy! Just watch her and bring her home before 9, okay hun?" I nodded and she let Sage out, with me grabbing my car and us riding. I drove a truck, simple and clean. Sage hopped in and said, "I got invited to a party! And they said to bring a plus one, so I chose you!! Mom already said it's fine if you go with me! Please please pleaseeeeee!!?" She asked, well begged and I sighed. "Fine, but I'm not going to wear a dress." I said and she jumped up, only a little though since she was in the truck.

"Anyways, Cafe? Or to the mall?" I asked and she went quiet. "I KNOW! WE SHOULD GO TO BOTH!" She said and I nodded, knowing she wanted the Cafe first. We arrived and she ordered a small bubble tea, and me just getting coke at the gas station down the road. We then head to the mall, and get out, making sure to lock my truck and grab our phones. We went in and went to FYE, because she got distracted by a phone case, it having red glitter, a red monster sticker, and a black case.
"Andy! Look, look!! It reminds me of your hair!" She said. My hair only a bit longer and still the same color, I nodded, and I got my wallet. She shook her head and said. "You bought the drinks, I'll buy this!" I just paid. Then I went to hot topic, and I chose a black hoodie, with a green chibi dinosaur on it, holding a skateboard. Without a doubt, I bought it. And after a couple more hours, and boys eyeing Sage, and me sending glares to scare them off, we left, and she invited me over, so I called my mom.
"Hey mom, I'm staying at Sages tonight, if you need anything tell me and I'll be there." I said and she replied. "Okay honey, stay safe, and tell Sage to have a good night, and I transferred money to Alayna so she could buy dinner! Behave and have fun, see you tomorrow." She said and hung up after me saying "Love you, bye." And Sage brought me to her room, and we sat and gossiped, well she gossiped and I listened.
"Hey!! By the way, did you hear the rumor!? Sam likes me! He's gonna ask me out!" She cheered and my heart stopped.

'He likes her? Duh Andy, who wouldn't he's "cool" and and not a girl. God damn why am I feeling like this?! It's not like I like her! Why would I? I'm not.. lesbian am I..?'

I said to myself, when she kept giggling at her crush liking her back.

"I've gotta go to the bathroom. I'll be back." I said, and she nodded, truthfully I didn't have to, I just needed air. Not from my best friends room either. But I ended up humping into Kazuma. "Oh, hey Andy! Hows it been?" He asked and I sighed.
"It's fine I guess, Kaz." I had a nickname for him and he called my by my name. "Aw whats wrong kiddo?" He asked and I looked around, and dragged him to the kitchen.
"So, say I like uh.. call them deer, I don't know if I do, and said deer has the biggest crush on a kid from school. And the crush likes deer back. And will ask deer out. What do I do?" I asked and he sighed. "Well, if you DO like said deer, then you need to tell deer. Deer might get into a relationship, and you might get hurt. But since your unsure, try seeing if you like anyone else? If you don't feel with them what you feel with deer, then you like deer!" He replied, happily. "That.. makes sense. Thanks Kaz. I owe you one." I smiled and he smiled back, excusing me. I went back up to Sages room, and sat down, going back to listening to her until I fell asleep.

~Sages Point Of View~

"And so I-.. Andy? Did you seriously fall asleep at 8?.." I asked to no one in particular.  I then hear her soft snore. "It's fine. Goodnight Andy." I said, but I didn't sleep, I.. stared at her peacefully? 'She's pretty when she sleeps' I say to myself, and go to hug her, but I couldn't help but not want to let go. Eventually I do, and give her a blanket and lie down beside her.

"I guess I have truly fallen for my best friend." I whispered softly, before falling into a peaceful slumber.
