I was getting sooooo impatient waiting for daddy.
He was meant to be home hours ago!

"H-huh?" I didn't like the sound of that noise..I ran to hide under the covers but slipped on my carpet.
I burst into tears, curling up into a ball. "Princess!?"
Wilbur's POV
I am so late! My stupid boss made me work overtime, Nikes probably terrified!
I opened the door and the wind slammed it shut.
I heard crying and shuffling from Nikis room.
I quickly ran upstairs and saw Niki crying on the floor in a ball.
"Princess!?" I ran over to her, cradling my princess.
"Shh it's okay, daddy's here.." After some consoling words I heard her hiccups gradually quieten down and soft snores fill the room.
I gently laid her down on the bed and went downstairs, turning the TV on.
