"Amira!" Jahseh said as I ran out of the house and into the streets. What the fuck was I thinking staying here?! Jahseh would have never went through what he was going through now.
And now he see's me in a sexual way. I've been through enough already I don't need to go through more shit. "Amira come back!" Jahseh's yells for me echoes as I turned the corner.
I have to get out of here. Maybe Jocelyn would leave him alone if I did. I mean she did come back to him when I came. His mom was right about that.
I made it to a small dirt road and gladly took it. I have to just get away from here. I couldn't hear Jahseh's voice anymore. Did he give up? Maybe he just got tired and doesn't want to find me.
Well it was good for him. I just caused chaos to his life. And I don't want a guy like him to fall because of me. He's too sweet. He's too gentle. What Jocelyn said had to have been a lie.
I kept running until I came to a hill. When I reached the top I looked to see the city. It was beautiful in all honesty. The breeze flowed in my hair as I closed my eyes and let my body relax.
But this was short lived once I felt the surroundings darken. "You should leave him for good dear sister. I don't know what you see in him." Jocelyn's cold voice spoke besides me.
"Jocelyn leave me alone and leave him alone as well. You need to just go your ruining everything!" I yelled at her causing her to grow angry. But then a wicked grin played on her face.
"Why do you stay with him? He did save you from that man. So what are you trying to do?" She then asked me coming closer to me. "I'm not trying to do anything Jocelyn! So stop trying to make it seem like I am! And he won't believe you when you tell him!"
I shouted at her. She smiled at me eerily as her eyes grew black. "Your using him?" She asked me as her smile began to creep me out.
"I would never use Jahseh! He's the most sweetest and kindest person you could ever meet! And you can't take that away from him!" I shouted. I was so angry that I couldn't cry.
"How could you say those mean things about him Amira?" She asked as I stared at her in confusion. She then looked in the direction I had come. Once I followed her gaze I gasped seeing Jahseh's hurt and watery eyes staring into mine. Then he turned and walked away.....
Jahseh's POV
I ran after Amira as she ran into the dirt road. I've never been this way before so it was something new. I stayed quite as I saw her get farther away from me.
Each step she took away from me was the more I felt my heart break. I can't lose her. I do have feelings for her. And losing her will be the greatest mistake of my life.
I should have closed my door so she didn't see me. I'm an idiot for moaning her name at all. Now she probably feels I'm trying to use her.
I ran up the hill after seeing her disappear. What stopped me was the sound of Jocelyn's voice speaking to her. "Why do you stay with him? He did save you from that man. So what are you trying to do?" She asked Amira eerily.
I hide behind a bush once I had them in my sight. "What I'm doing is none of your business Jocelyn! Don't worry about it!" Amira said as she glared at her. "Your using him?" Jocelyn said making Amira glare at her. "Of course I'm using him! His foolish self is to stupid and naive that he doesn't realize it."
When Amira said this I felt my heart break in two. Amira then had a confused look on her face as Jocelyn looked at me. Amira looked at me next and I couldn't do anything but hold back tears and walk away.
Amira's POV
When I saw the tears in his eyes I began to feel like shit for running away. But it was the way he looked at me that caught me off guard. It was like I said something to him that hurt his feelings. But I haven't said anything wrong. Unless...
"What did you do!" I shouted at Jocelyn as she smiled wickedly at me. "What did we do? Well you said all those mean things about him while I asked the questions." She said beginning to float away from the hill.
"Don't worry dear sister. The time when he is going to fall will come. And when that time comes I'll be there to drag him down. Drag him down to hell!" Jocelyn exclaimed laughing maniacally before disappearing. I began to panic as I turned around and ran after Jahseh.
When I made it out of the path and back to where I was I saw him walking with his head held low and with his hands in his pockets. "Jahseh wait!" I shouted but he never turned around. He just kept walking. I ran faster and was finally able to catch up with him.
"Jahseh whatever you heard wasn't true! Jocelyn was messing with your mind to make it sound like I was saying hurtful things." I said as I stood in front of him making him stop. "Amira It was your voice and it came from your mouth!" He yelled at me.
I flinched hard at the sound of him yelling at me. He just sighed and shook his head once he noticed my actions. "Let's go back to the house." He said walking around me. I followed him back to the house and when we got there he went straight to his room.
My heart was breaking and I wanted him to know I was telling the truth. I don't want him to be hurt by anyone. I've been through enough pain to know. I feel it's time. I went up to his room and quietly opened the door to see him laying on his stomach on the bed.
Quietly I walked over to the bed and sat down on the other side away from him. He picked his head up and layed it back down looking at me. "What do you want Amira?" He asked closing his eyes. "I want... To lay down with you." I said as my nerves began to start.
I would never have done this if it was another male. Jahseh furrowed his eye brows at me. Not waiting for him to respond I slowly crawled over to him as he layed on his side facing me. He watched my every move as I layed down with my back facing him.
"Come closer." He whispered as I stood there with my body tense. "I'm going to bring you closer." He said before I felt his arm wrap around me and pull me up against his body. "I promise I'm not going to hurt you."
"Just relax Amira." He said as he got comfortable beside me. The nervous feeling started to go away once we were both settled in. "Do you trust me now?" He said in my ear lowly. "Yes I do Jah and I don't have any intention to hurt you."
A wave of tiredness came over me. I felt my body relax and I felt sleepy. I tried to keep them open but it didn't work. "I'll never let you go Amira. And I'll always be here to protect you." Was the last thing Jahseh said to me before I finally fell into a deep sleep. One that I haven't had since I was abducted.
