Sofia never lost that number. She considered calling it a few times , when John would get to violent she never did.

She saved the number in her phone and memorized it again and again. She didn't need to use it until John came home drunk wanting the one thing she didn't wanna give him. Pleasure.

He forced the kiss . His harsh lips hit hers as he undressed her. " no , no get off me." Sofia cried. "Shut up." He said kissing down her chest. " you know you want it ."

" no please don't ."

Soon his fist slammed down to her face . She felt the blood trickle down out of her mouth. She started to scream. That only made him mad .

His fist hitting her face making her cough up blood. Her hands shaking and him pinning her down .
He went fast and hard with each moan that escaped his mouth.

" I hate you." She yelled as tears fell down her face. He stopped. He put back on his pants and  before he walked out the door he whispered: that's fine Stacy gives much more than you have to offer.

Tears fell down her cheeks and blood was all on her hands , it was dripping from her face , she was swollen.

She tried to wash the blood off her hands but it wouldn't come off she felt frustrated and mad at the same time only making her break down.

She grabbed her phone and called Derek.

She was in tears as the phone rang making her anxiety rise.

D- love what's wrong.
She couldn't speak . She opened her mouth but nothing came out .
He knew enough .
D- I'm on my way.

She heard her front door open and she flinched at the thought of it being John.

" Sofia come." Derek said taking off his jacket. He moved it around her shoulders and he walked her to his car.
" wait here okay?" He smiled.

" find him." Derek demanded. He got in the car and held Sofia until they got to his house . Her heart was pounding as he rubbed her back gently . He took her to his bathroom and started cleaning the blood off her face . " he really got down mmh?" Derek said dabbing her lip.

" he raped me ."

"You don't have to worry he's not gonna hurt you again." He reassured.

" you can stay the night if you want. I'll have my guard set you up. No one I'll hurt you here , not while I'm here."

She nodded still shivering.

" boss we found him. Do we bring him in?" Devi motioned .

" yes."

Her eyes widened but relief flooded through-out her body. She started calming down as Derek moved her neck to the side and wiping the blood off.
" like I said you don't have to worry."

She faked a smile and he gave her some clothes. He showed her the room .
" if you need me I'm down the hall." He smiled.

" thank you." She said hugging him. Her head rested on his chest as his arms slowly went around her .

" goodnight Sofia."

She slept that night . Something she hadn't been able to do in a while . She felt safe .

Dereks pov
She's gorgeous.

I grew fond of her since that night in the bar. She wasn't scared like alot of people would be . And I hated what her boyfriend did. She made the right choice calling me . That means she somewhat trusts me . I like that she does, not many people do.

Before I left her room her arms held onto me . I didn't know how to react but I hugged her back her hair smelt like vanilla.

I knocked on her door , she was asleep so I opened it. She looked so peaceful. Like she finally was able to sleep. She felt safe.

I've killed more people that I can count since I've became king. Since I was 14 my dad forced me to join. He's alive and working for me .After everything he put me through as a kid he deserved not to be in the top spot He killed my mom, he made me join some mafia thing I didn't even know was until he made me lose my virginity at 15 . He was cruel. He had it coming. But he hates me for it.

The blanket that she laid with covered a portion of her body. A good amount of her thigh and leg was shown , I couldn't help but look but it wasn't in a creepy way. Just a glare

Devi tapped my shoulder as He leaned in the door frame. " new beauty I see." Devi chuckled. " mm no . She's in a rough place. Ok just helping her out."

" because you do that a lot." He said sarcastically. " look at her. What did you expect me to do?"

" I think that you should as her to dinner." Devi laughed.

" no . I don't know. I mean-"

" ask.I've never seen you be so gentle with someone." Devi adored.

" okay you can shut the fuck up now ." I blushed .

The next day— 6:00 am/ no ones POV
She woke up to the sound of plates clinking downstairs.

She tossed and turned but she couldn't go back to sleep. Instead she started looking for her other clothes that were cleaned and folded on the desk.

Her face was throbbing and her hands shook uncontrollably as she started washing her face.

She seen how many slits she had on her face and how many bruises stood out.
She heard a knock on the door . It was Derek.
