Why did I have to explain?

Chapter 7

All the boys returned to LA, Harry came back with them. Anne was still disappointed at Harry for not sorting everything with Louis.

Back in LA, they completed recording for their album. It was released, and like their last one it was a huge hit as well. Again, their days of interview started. But this time they didn't complain about it. All of them agreed that it was a break they needed from everything that was going on. The only setback was, Louis and Harry had to pretend that everything was okay between them. But their reality indicated otherwise.The management was not allowing Louis to break up with Eleanor, however he fought for it. He didn't want his relationship with her to go on. He wanted a new relationship, with Harry.

In one interview, their secret was almost out. The interviewer asked Louis,"Did something happen between you and Harry?" "Me and Harry? Um- nothing." "Then why does it look like Harry is angry with you? Never mind. You are boys. Many indifferences happen." The interviewer, laughed. Louis and the other boys chuckeled, nervously.

Harry was having a difficult time, being angry at the love of his life. He had bottled up so much since his big blowout. All the love, happiness when Louis came to his house to apologise, some anger, and somewhere, guilt for pushing Louis away. It was as if when the time comes, Harry will blow up. The other three were sad about Louis and Harry, or Larry (as they liked to call them).

But what happened at an interview in Germany, changed everything. That day Harry was very restless. He woud get pissed off at the smallest mistake. But unlike Harry, Louis was the same. He had been sad at every interview since they came back from Cheshire. He would usually mishear the question or get distracted in between. Once, he even cried on camera. Coming bac to Harry, he was behaving very wierd. When the five boys came out their dressing room (they each had a different one), Harry saw Louis. Louis was wearing a bright red t-shirt and beige pants, the outfit he wore on the day of his X Factor audition. The day Harry saw this boy and fell in love with him. The interview was about to start. Harry was sitting between Niall and Liam and Louis was at the other end with Zayn.

Between the interview Harry whispered something to Liam who requested to switch the camera off. As Liam was about to ask the crew to give them some privacy, Harry got up from his place and fell on Louis. Louis would have fell down his chair if Zayn didn't catch it. Harry was crying. He didn't want to let go of Louis. Liam and Niall asked the crew to leave the roomwhen they saw their surprised faces. Niall went outside with them. "They both had a big fight before this interview, So they weren't talking to each other. Harry just realised it was his mistake and couldn't stop himself." Niall shrugged and went back inside.

Harry was clinging on to Louis, who looked confused and shocked. "I am sorry, Louis. I shouldn't have shoved it all on you like that. I am sorry for pushing you away. I- I hated it. Every minute of it. I can't take it anymore. Not talking to you. I feel horrible. I am sorry." Louis took out his arms from under Harry and put them around him. "Harry, there's nothing you have to apologise for. It was my fault. I ignored you. I didn't care. You had to explain it. Please, stop being sorry," They both were hugging each other very tight. Niall started crying. Liam was tearing up and Zayn was just happy. Louis got up from his chair while hugging Harry. He closed his eyes to feel Harry's Harry's body on him. Then they both let go. They stared at each other, smiling. Both of them were crying.

Then Louis took a step and planted his lips on Harry's lips. Zayn, Niall and Liam raised their eyebrows and looked at different directions. Harry's eyes went from wide-opened, to satisfied closed. They were kising for a long time. Louis was fondling Harry's hair and Harry cupped Louis's face. They stopped and looked at the other three, who were looking very awkward. Harry and Louis laughed with teary eyes and called out to them,"Fine. We are done." They all looked at the two of them and ran to hug them. They were very happy that the how it all turned out. After they all let go of each other, Louis and Harry wiped their eyes and looked at each other. Niall went out to call the crew back inside. They took their places but this time Zayn took Harry's place between Niall and Liam and Harry sat with Louis. The interview went smoothly after that. Harry and Louis were both positively beaming and Liam, Niall and Zayn were relieved.
