"Ahem" Evan cleared his throat and muttered something about American humor. "Well, as a formal introduction, I am Evan, and I will be showing you around the castle." he said and bowed. Everyone here had a British accent. Which was normal, considering we were in England. I then remembered what one of my first thoughts were this morning.
"Where is my Dad?" I immediately asked.
"Your Dad?" Evan seemed confused. "Oh! Your Dad. Yes, that's right. He is in America. But we did leave him a $100."
"What?" I yelled. They took me from my home to another country against my will, AND left my Dad in America? Wasn't that considered kidnapping?
"Isn't what you guys did considered kidnapping?" I voiced my thoughts.
Evan paled. "Oh, I guess Charles didn't think about that. Well, yes, it is kidnapping but-" I cut him off.
"Then I'm calling the police." I said angrily.
"Um, you can't really do that." He said matter-of-factly. "You cannot because it was on orders of the Queen. The Queen Of England."
"Psh. Like the Queen would want me." I said, slightly annoyed.
Evan looked a bit relieved and confused at the same time. "Yes, no one knows why she wanted you. Still, orders are orders, especially from the Queen. Anyway, we need to get on with the tour. Come on."Evan gave me a complete tour of the castle, I remembered it all, but it was a bit boring. Finally, Evan took me to a path outside the castle and said "Last but most certainly not least," Evan stepped back to let me see what it was. "Charm School For Future Royalties. Or, CSFR for short."
It was a huge building, but not as big as the castle had been. It kind of looked like a mini-castle. It was pretty cool, for a school. Then I realized why he had brought me he. "I'm going to this school, aren't I?" He nodded and I sighed.
"Anyways, there is someone else you need to see." Directly after Evan said that, a lady came strolling down the path towards us.
When she reached us, she turned to me and said "Hi! My name is Anne, and I am going to help you fill up your closet in your new room, which you haven't moved into yet."
"Wait, so what was that room I woke up in then? I asked.
"Oh, that was just a guest room. Your real room will be much better. You'll see when we get back. But first, we need to go shopping!" She said excitedly, grabbing my arm and pulling me down the path.***
After trying on more clothes than I have ever worn in my entire life, Anne went to take my clothes to my new room. Evan came around as the sun was setting and said "As you know, today is Sunday. That means tomorrow is Monday, and your first day at CSFR. It will be strange at first, and we have informed all the professors that you are from the U.S. so they know some things they say might not make sense to you. Still, you will be treated the same as every other student. Do you understand?"
I nodded and said "I just want to go to sleep, please."
"Of course" Evan said in a surprised tone. "You are on a totally different time schedule, and it as been a long day for you. I apologize. Here, follow me."
He led me to a door and said "This is your new room. Sleep well." With that, Evan left.
I looked around my room, which was again mostly white, but one of the walls were gray. It had a white bed with a black base. The bed was on top of a soft, light tan carpet. The bed was next to a light brown wooden nightstand with a lamp on it.
The walls made a little square room that had no wall or door blocking it. In that area was a black couch and a desk that matched the nightstand, with a black desk chair. It also had a tall, white lamp.
There was a dresser with a black and white picture, a mirror, and a small, but empty, vase. The dresser was light brown and wooden as well. It was on the gray wall.
On the side opposite to the square are were two doors. This time, I knew what they were, but I checked them out anyway. The bathroom was all black, with a white sink on a black counter. At the end of the room was a white bathtub, with a shower with glass sliding doors next to it. Of course, the floor was black tile and the walls were black. I then moved into the wardrobe. It was the same, except filled with my clothes.
I was really tired, so I changed into a T-shirt and shorts and went straight to sleep.
