Mr A and the living spirit

To tell you the truth, my grandfather was a terrifying psychic old man who decided other people's jobs and marriage partner based on his psychic sense. When I write this, you may think that I was born into some sort of strange cult, but I'm not religious (only the funeral type is Buddhist).

It's just that my grandfather was a psychic consultant and would have lines of people waiting to see him. He would do this for free in addition to his work, and my parents house was always filled with customers. In the tokonoma* (alcove), there used to be a pile of flowers and fruits as a gift from the guests.

Well, that was the environment.

There were many people related to me, some were psychic and some weren't, so I wasn't given any special treatment and everyone lived normally. Even if there was a woman I didn't know sitting in the kitchen, or a long thin man stuck in the doorway, or an old woman hanging upside down from the ceiling. It wasn't that unusual. When I told other people, they were horrified, so I just stopped telling them.

And then my grandfather told me,

"You're the one with the strongest blood. I'm going to need your help. I'm going to ask for your advice."

That's what he said.

I ignored it (or forgot about it) because it was troublesome, but before I knew it I began getting consultations in my area. From it came an unforgettable experience.

It was when a client (Mr. A) came to me for advice on whether or not to quit his job, as he had a bad relationship with his boss. According to his story, the boss was apparently related to the president and behaved as he wanted.

Complaints poured out of Mr A's mouth is quick succession:

"I love my job, but I can't stand to have it disturbed and to have my work stolen."

Well, it is a common problem.

As I was nodding my head in agreement... I felt a strange presence. There was a face looking at me from outside the window right next to Mr A, with only half its face showing.

It's gaze was fixed on Mr A.

The face was earthy-colored, and the eyes were glazed over, and a peculiar smell was wafting in the air.

I knew right away that this was a living spirit.**

"A-san, are you feeling isolated at work?"

When I asked him if he was isolated at work, he got excited and began to complain with tears in his eyes. He told me that his boss was saying all kinds of things about him, and that the employees he was close to were distancing themselves from him.

As Mr A's complains got more and more heated, the face outside the window opened its eyes and entered the room, getting closer and closer to Mr A.

"I can't believe someone like that is going to be a candidate for the next president! There are other deserving people!"

The living spirits began to pile up on Mr A, who was denying his boss with his emotions. Soon, the room was filled with an unpleasant smell (thoughts of bitterness and resentment have a bad smell).

This isn't good...

So I asked Mr A a question: "Isn't there something good in someone like that?"

At the sudden question, Mr A looked at me like a child who had just flipped a kitchen table. He blinked and began to think for a moment. After a while, Mr A regained his composure and began to list the good things of his boss.

"That's the kind of place you can rely on, isn't it?" he concluded.

At the same time, the unpleasant smell began to softly disappear.

After confirming the presence outside the window, I was trembling as I told Mr A about this incident. Because we were on the second floor, and there was no place for anyone to stand, and above all, the appearance matched the features of the boss.

I told Mr A, who was half crying, "Why am I in this situation..." about the information that came from the living spirit.

I told them that their boss was afraid of his existence. The boss is afraid of Mr A. He believed that if he got along with the other employees, he'd be able to spread his complaints. Mr A is trusted so much by the current president that he is a hinderance to him becoming the next president. He is motivated by his own personal greed than the interests of the company, so if he took him seriously, it would only get worse.

When Mr A heard this, his expression changed and became clearer.

"It's ridiculous to quit after all!" he declared.

After that, Mr A was able to calmly deal with his unpleasant boss and keep a moderate distance from him...

That incident made me think a lot.

When you're bad mouthing someone, it as if your own protective layer is thinning. Therefore, it becomes easier to connect with the thoughts of the target of the bad words.

It may be easier to understand if I describe it as being electrocuted.

When you are struck, its as though the other person's thoughts have already invaded your mind, so you react to them every time until you notice, and it becomes noisy with anger or crying. In other words, you get dominated.

When people act out of envy and jealousy, they end up closing their necks.

In other words, living spirits and thoughts are the same thing as curses. If you curse, you will eventually end up in the grave yourself, but we have created a route to get there (electrocution).

Therefore, the best countermeasure is to "not create gaps". Just be careful not to thin the protective film with bad words and the situation will improve.

Spiritual sensitivity tends to have a strange image, but it can be useful in times of trouble.

I can go on and on about this stuff...

But that's about it for this time.
