When It All Started - Part Two

3rd Person POV:

When little Silvanna was excited by seeing far lands.Natalia's only wish was to see some peace.

The last 3 weeks was the worst times of her life.Her father,was taken as a soldier to a raging war at the Barren Lands territory.Soon,they got a letter from an officier in which it was informed that her father wont come back.

After that astonishing news,Natalia's mother didn't feel herself well.She fell sick and after 3 days,Natalia was left alone in this world.Empire took their house from Natalia,as none of her parents were alive,so she was kicked outside.

But young Nata haven't given up yet.She believed that she's grown up enough to find a job,a simple one that'll make enough resources to carry on.She later realized how wrong she was.

Not a single workshop wanted a 8 years old orphaned kid as a staff.No matter where did she went,all places turned her down.

After a while,Nata felt hunger.She needed some food.But she didn't have any money at all to buy something.That was the day she committed her first sin,as she thought.

That was also the day she found out her skill.

She quite didn't understand,though.She went to the closest bakery to her and focused on fresh tasty bread she needed.

I need to concentrate.If only I was able to be invisible.

And she was able to.She sneaked there,grabbed a bread and ran away.She was later shocked when she realized that not a single soul noticed her sneaking or running.

When she was crying by thinking about her gone away family,a little girl holded her hands.

-Hey,cutie with red hair,are you lost?

Nata was surprised as she heard that.It's the first time in this terrible 3 that someone noticed her.

-That's the place I stay for today.I-I don't have anywhere to go.

Natalia said the last words with such a pain that even made the blond guy next to her some pity.

-Oi,if you want,you can come with us.Is that alright,Silvanna?

The girl who has just held her hands,stood up and smiled.

-Yes.That's even better!

That's the day I felt myself like an ordinary girl.Even for a little,I felt peace...

As the Natalia stood up,she decided to hang out with that company for a while.For her,that was the first friends of her.She swore that she'll protect that little girl,who called her cutie,and the guy,that invited her to join,no matter what.

-By the way,where are we heading on?

The moment she asked the question,Natalia felt like she did a horrible mistake.The blonde guy changed his face,turning from the naughty happy boy to a depressed sould who suffered pain.He then looked at my direction,without lifting his head.

-That doesn't matter.

Silvanna seemed to notice the heavy atmoshpere that she suggested him to be more gentle towards red-haired girl.

-Yeah,I guess you're right,Silvanna.Hey,red haired cutie,what's your name?

The "red haired cutie" part even made Natalia blush a little,as she didn't expected such a gentle compliment right after a cold answer.

-I-I'm Natalia.You can call me Nata, i-if you want though.

The blonde guy made Nata even more shocked,genuinely smiling this time.

-I see.That's a cute name.You can call me Alucard.We,are going to save my father.
