sick day

I woke up today feeling a little sick: my nose is runny, my throat is aching and my muscles are so tense that I can hardly feel them. I just lay in my bed the whole day watching cartoons on the tv while my boyfriend, Damiano is at practice with his band mates. I miss him.

when he finally comes back home I don't do as usual: I don't jump into his arms and kiss him like in a romantic movie. instead I just stay in the bed and just blow my runny red nose to the tissue.

Damiano comes into the bedroom yelling my name. "y/n?", he asks in a confused way but I can hear the worry in his voice. he isn't used to me being this non-clingy.

he quickly comes next to the bed and sits down. he gently presses his hand on my forehead. "you're sick", he sighs and looks at me in the eyes. "why didn't you call me?" he seems kinda guilty.

I slowly stand up to sit on the bed. "I didn't want to bother you", you say quietly with a raspy voice because of your throat ache. "what? don't say that, you can always call me, princess", he says while stroking my cheek gently with his thumb.

I quickly move away from him. "I don't want to make you sick", I say as I couch into the sleeve of my nightgown. he still moves closer to me and kisses me on the forehead. "stay here", he whispers and gets up. "where would I go?", I laugh.

he makes his way into the kitchen. after a moment he comes back to me with a cup of warm chicken soup. he places it and a spoon on the table and sits next to me. "here", Damiano says with a proud smile on his face.

I look at him for a long time, this is why I fell for him, well who wouldn't. he's so sweet and loving. I stroke his bare chest gently. "thank you, baby." he smiles and puts a warm fuzzy blanket over me.

after this he comes next to me cuddling me from the back and gently stroking my hair while we watch cartoons together. "I don't care if I get sick at least I'm with you amor", he whispers. he's so cute.
