Jordan's P.O.V.

Once Sheriff told Lacey that Scott was missing, she fell. I ran forward and caught her before she could fall fully to the ground. She kept on mumbling 'not again' or 'please no'. I rubbed her back soothingly, rocking us back and forth. I looked up at Sheriff. He looked at Lacey sadly. I eased her up to the bench, I was about to walk over to the Sheriff when Lacey grabbed my hand she looked up to me, I gasped her usual blue eyes were glowing a bright blue. I looked at Stiles and the Sheriff, they looked taken aback.

"Are you a werewolf?" Stiles asked.

"No." She whispered.

"We have to take her to Derek." Stiles proclaimed.

"First, we have to arrange sleeping arrangements. Lacey, you can stay with us if you like." Sheriff said.

"How are sleeping arrangements more important than glowing eyes on a person who is supposed to be a human?" Stiles exclaimed but was ignored like he is most of the time he speaks.

"Can I stay with you?" Lacey asked while looking at me with tear-filled eyes. I didn't think this was a good idea considering she is only 17, but looking at her desperate eyes and her firm hold on my hand, I couldn't say no.

"Of course," I answered.

"Great, now let's go to Derek." Stiles pressed.

I took Lacey's hand and led her through the station. There was another wolf whistle, I looked over and found Deputy Haigh. I tightened my grip on her hand and attempted to walk out but was held back by Lacey not moving. When I turned to look at her she had pure black eyes. She blinked and her eyes went back to normal. We quickly drove to Derek's house, and I hopped out and helped Lacey out. I took her hand and led her up to the loft. We walked in and Derek looked up from his book. Peter was sitting on the stairs that led upstairs reading a book.

"Hey Lacey, why are you here?" Derek asked.

"I don't know, ask Jordan and Stiles." She stated.

Derek looked at me curiously.

"Well, Jordan, why is she here?" Derek questioned

"Her eyes keep changing colors," I confessed.

"What do you mean?" Derek countered.

"We were at the station and her eyes turned blue. Then when we were walking out her eyes changed to pure black."  I explained.

Derek turned to Lacey.

"What were you feeling when your eyes were blue?" Derek asked.

"Sadness," Lacey answered.

"Oh, how I miss the teenager days where I felt sadness every day instead of just feeling empty." Peter sarcastically input.

"One of these days I'm going to murder you." Lacey snapped back.

"Well, that's not at all comforting." Peter faked a sincere voice.

"In case you haven't figured it out yet. I don't care about your comfort, psychopath." Lacey fumed.

"Enough, let's get back on topic." Sheriff Stilinski cut in.

"And when they were black?" Derek countered.

"Harassed." She stated.

Derek thought it over and looked at Lacey.

"You're a Jinni," Derek said.

"A what?" I asked.

"A Jinni, it's a shapeshifter, you can turn into any animal. Some myths also say that you can turn into any person as long as you have some sort of DNA of theirs," Derek explained.

"Try it. Think of an animal." Derek said.

Lacey thought, and she closed her eyes, and when she opened them she was a pit bull. Lacey looked up at Derek and me.

"Now think of yourself as a human," Derek assured.

Lacey closed her eyes, and she was back to her normal self. One problem,  she was naked. Stiles yelped and turned around, Derek and I did the same. Peter didn't even look up from his book.

"Stiles, go get her some clothes from Cora's room," Derek demanded.

"Yeah, I'm going." Stiles ran up the stairs with his hands over his eyes and tripped on the last one.

"I'm fine!" Stiles yelled. Lacey chuckled and sat down. Stiles came down and threw the clothes at Lacey.

"OK, you all can turn around now." We all turned around and sat down next to her. Lacey yawned and put her head on my lap and her feet on Derek's. She soon was asleep, Derek called everyone so he could explain Lacey to everyone so he didn't have to repeat it.

Once everyone arrived Derek explained everything, once he was done explaining it was well past midnight. I tried to wake Lacey up so we could go home, but she wouldn't wake up.

"You're not gonna be able to wake her up." Stiles chimed in.

I picked Lacey up by grabbing her under her knees and shoulders and took her to my car, buckling her up. We reached my house and by the time I unlocked the door, she was awake.

"I'll take the couch, you can take my bed," I said.

"No, I'll take the couch and you take the bed," Lacey argued.

"No, I'm on the couch." I countered.

"How about we both sleep in your bed?"

"I would be invading your privacy," I argued.

"What if I have an attack and you can't hear me?" She questioned.

"Fine." I gave in.

"Come on then, I'm sure you're tired," Lacey said, taking my hand and going into the bed. I pulled the covers over us. She snuggled up to me, her back facing my stomach. I put my arms around her and fell asleep.
