"Mom?" I said when I entered the kitchen. I found her by the stove cooking something. I had tear stains on my cheeks and I was holding something. She looked at me. A worried expression got on her face. Her eyes darted to the thing in my hand.

"What's wrong? And what's that in your hand?" I lifted the item. It was a pregnancy test. I started to tear up again. She got an angry look. She came close to me and slapped me. Hard. "You slut! Your a disgrace to this family! Is Sal the father?!" she screamed at me. I just nodded. She slapped me again. "I'm sending you to your fathers. Tonight. Go pack." she turned away from me and grabbed her phone. Probably to call my dad and to get a plane ticket. I hung my head down and went to my room. I went into my closet and got out the suitcases I kept in their for when I visit my dad or go to Mexico. I started pack my stuff. I packed everything that could fit in my 3 suitcases. In total I had 5 suitcases. Three for my clothes, one for my shoes and one for my makeup. My mom came into my room without knocking.

"I see your finished. Your taxi will be here in half an hour. Your plane leaves in two hours." She gave me a plane ticket. She turned and left. She hates this much that she can't take me to the airport? Wow. What can I do now? My mom came back in. "Give me your phone." she demanded. I grabbed it off my bedside. She left again.

I walked around my room looking at the things I'm leaving behind. My room wasn't big. Just enough room for me. I looked down at my stomach and smiled. I can't believe I'm pregnant. Sal can't know. He won't. No one else knows. I laid on my bed and stared at my ceiling. Hm... I guess I'll tell you a little about myself. My names Olivia. I'm 16, currently a junior. My boyfriend is Sal, he's 17 and a senior. We've been dating for two years. I guess that's it. Nothing interesting about me.

I just wish I could tell Sal he was going to be a father. I can't bring myself to.

I got a pen and paper. I started writing:

Dear Sal,

By the time you get this, I will be out of Arizona. I'm so sorry. My mom is sending me away to my dad's. Your probably wondering why, you probably have that adorable confused face I love. I'm so sorry I can't bring myself to tell you this to your face... I don't love you anymore. I never did. It's better if you just forget about me. Pretend I was never in your life. Don't bother coming to my old house, yes my mom will be there but she won't tell you anything. I'm so sorry Sal... Just promise me you won't go looking for me... It'll be a waste of time.

                                                                                                                                                                  Love, Olivia

In the middle of writing that, I started crying again. I got tear stains on the note. I folded it up and wrote To Sal on the top.

I got up and took my suitcases one by one to the front door. As I was heading back to my room, I heard a taxi honk. I sighed. This is it. My mother didn't even come to say bye. She finally got her wish. To get rid of me. The taxi driver helped me with my stuff.

"Driver, before you take me to the airport, could you take me to this address." I gave him Sal's address. He nodded. I knew Sal wasn't home. He was at a friends house like every Friday. The taxi pulled up to Sal's house. I got off and told the driver "I'll be right back."

I walked up his house and knocked. Thankfully his mom answered the door.

"Olivia! What a pleasant surprise! Sal isn't here hun. But you're welcome to come in." She brought me into a hug.

"I'm sorry I can't come in. I need to go somewhere. Could you please give this to Sal on Monday. No earlier than that." I handed her the note. She looked at me.

"Is something wrong?" That brought tears to my eyes.

"No." I said a shaky voice. "Well I better be going. Goodbye." she gave me one last hug. I got back into the taxi. The ride to the airport wasn't long. We got to the airport and the driver once again helped me with my stuff.

As I waited for my plane, I started crying again. I can't go through with this. When Sal finds out I left, it'll kill him! Especially with that note I left him. My flight was called. I boarded. I cried during the whole flight. Not once getting rest. When we landed my dad was waiting for me. He helped me with my stuff. He was actually very calm and nice about everything. When we arrived at his house, my step-mom engulfed me into a hug.

"Oh honey. I'm here for you. We're here for you. If you need anything, don't be afraid to ask. I know the perfect doctor who can help with the pregnancy. Don't worry about a thing, we got you covered." this is why I love Miranda, she is so nice and caring. Unlike my actual mom. I smiled at her.

"One things for sure, if I have a girl, I'm naming her after you." That made her smile wide.
