Cassius' POV

I woke up the next morning with a hangover. I was drowsy and sore all over. I didn't remember anything about last night, except for Jace. He seemed like a cool guy. I owed him, but I only knew his name.

I looked in the phone directory to find the name "Jace Song". There was only one Jace in town which was extremely weird. But I was lucky.

I dialed the phone number and the same voice from last night answered.

"Hey, this is Jace. Who's calling?"

"Um..this is Cassius." I answered quietly.

"Do I know you?" He answered.

"I was at the bar last night. You drove me home, and I believe I owe you." I smiled.

"Oh yeah. Febreeze guy. Well, if I ever need anything I will make sure to call you." Jace's tone was emotionless.

"Can we meet for coffee? You know, I don't exactly have any friends. Or family."

"Oh. Uh, sure yeah! I can meet you at the local coffee shop in 15 minutes." Jace exclaimed.

"Sounds great." I smiled to myself.

We both said goodbye and I got ready. I wore a blue sweatshirt and black jeans. I grabbed the keys to my car key and was at the coffee shop in 10 minutes. I waited alone at a table and ordered two espressos and two brownies.

The door jingled as I saw the familiar face enter.

"Hi...um Casssius..." Jace struggled to remember my name. "You look better than last night." The boy chuckled.

I laughed "Yeah."

"Hey can we split a brownie? I don't need my own. And thanks for the food." Jace smiled and I nodded.

"Here you go." I cut the brownie in half and handed it to him. Our fingertips lightly brushed each other and I blushed.

"Sorry." He murmured.

What was going on with me? There must be something wrong with me. A boy made me blush for crying out loud! I couldn't be gay. I liked girls, and everything they had to offer. There must be something wrong with me. Maybe I was falling in love, and I couldn't help it.
