The Bear Attack

The thing looked big, its jaw wide open, then it hit her, it was a huge brown bear running right at them. As soon as she noticed it was a bear, she screamed and warned her mom, that a bear was coming right towards them. Rose's mom acted quickly but not quickly enough, the bear was about to bite Rose, but before it could her mother reared and kicked the bear's hide. The bear staggered for a moment, but got right back into the fight. Rose's mother kicked but the bear swiped hard with his front paw. The mother neighed in pain, after he hit her straight in the leg. Rose's mother was down, but Rose was not. Right after her mother fell down in pain, Rose ran towards the bear and kicked him in the jaw, the bear staggered for a moment, Rose neighed in anger for hurting her mother, soon the bear ran off back into the forest.

Rose quickly walked over to her hurt mother, and her mother nudged her proudly and and thankfully for protecting her and the herd. Rose's father quickly noticed Rose standing by her mother Flicka laying down in pain. As soon as he saw them he raced right over to them, then nudged Flicka's muzzle, then noticed that her leg was sprained. Since Flicka couldn't walk for a while Rose's father Spartan neighed to the herd to come spend the night with Flicka.

That night Rose had a nightmare about the bear, but the bear was friendly. Then the dream changed and the bear was mean again it was happening again but this time the bear roared like it was hurt. The bear lifted his paw and Rose saw a small thorn stuck in his paw, as soon as she saw that she told the bear that she can help you then carefully pulled out the thorn. The bear was in pain for a moment but quickly got better, then he thanked Rose for helping him then bounded off back into the forest.
