"I'm sorry! I thought Andy had the rescue, but he was half health! You already shot off by the time I was even able to see you-"
"You should have been more attentive! You're always so wrapped up in decoding!" Edgar furrowed his eyebrows.
"I'm a decoder, it's what I do! You know I'm terrible at rescues!" Luca nervously sweat.
Luca and Edgar were fighting again. It was more severe than last time, due to Edgar already being frustrated with his horrible matches earlier on.
Luca was unable to rescue Edgar in time.
"You could have tried to at least! It doesn't matter if you're bad at it or not, you should have been keeping watch out for me anyways! I'm your boyfriend, you should always try to rescue me!" Edgar pointed and shouted and sneered. He was really pushed over the edge today.
"Edgar, stop! It was just a slip up, please stop fighting me over this. I promise I'll try better next time."
Edgar snapped.
"You always, always, always say next time! What do you do next time? You make everything worse! You never try to fix your mistakes, are you just so braindead from the accident? It screwed you over so badly that you can't even take care of me right, huh, shitdick?! I never want to see you again." Edgar stomped and spun around quickly, shutting the door to the "Prisoner's" room. Boy, was he angry. Was this a breakup? He sure wanted it to be. He wanted nothing more than to scream and burn everything down.
Luca stood in the middle of his room with shaky legs. Did Edgar really just say that to him? Was it really over?
And it was all Luca's fault, wasn't it?
Droplets of water splashed onto the floor. One, two, three, until Luca dropped down with them. Just as Edgar said... He was a horrible, braindead boyfriend that couldn't do anything right. Everything was his fault. His mentor's death... Edgar...
On the other side of the story, Edgar was rage painting. Aggressively brushing the canvas with all colors of black, red, blue, yellow... None of them mixed, and it didn't matter. Scribble everything out, and he'll be fine. His hand was extremely shaky, so not only did the painting look a mess, but so was he.
About an hour later, they of course had to have a match together because this manor is total hell.
Edgar, Luca, Aesop, and Demi. Edgar and Luca...
While waiting for the hunter to arrive, everyone sat down. Edgar and Luca sat the farthest away from each other, having Aesop and Demi seated beside each other. Aesop and Demi were whispering to each other. Edgar attempted to eavesdrop, while Luca could do nothing but hold his head in his hands.
"Did somethin' happen between them...?" Demi whispers. Aesop whispers back, muffled due to his mask. "I heard yelling from Balsa's room a bit earlier. I'm assuming they had a fight, and a pretty bad one at that..."
"Shut your traps, you two." Edgar raised the tension. Aesop quickly stopped talking and stared right ahead. Demi rolled her eyes and looked away. Luca merely groaned.
After a minute or two of waiting, the hunter finally showed up. Unable to see who it is due to the curtain, everyone closed their eyes, and opened them to hear a nearby ocean.
Demi mixed her drinks, Aesop summoned his coffin, and everyone began to decode. Well, except for one.
Being found first, he began running tiredly. Being unable to even vault, he just turned around on the ship and put his hands in the air. "Miss Antoinette, please chair me first. I'm really not havin' the best day at the moment, I can't participate."
