hani was getting her outfit ready, she barely had any free time to herself and when she did sadly everyone had plans, but jeno
surely her and jeno had a moment but not any of it being sober, this was their first time hanging out
her personality online to in real life is a drastic change, she's working hard editing her projects while also taking care of her siblings back in canada since all her parents cared about was money for themselves
all hani did was supply them with food and spending money, finally this week was her days off of work, been working hard these past days, just so her siblings can eat and barely manages to get by rent
all these thoughts were disrupted by a knock at the door, "can you get that?" jiya asked still on her laptop
"yeah i got it" making her way to the door she takes a look in the peep hole to see jeno just looking around
when she opens the door she's greeted by jeno's smile, one she'd never forget
"come in i'll just get my bag", while hani was searching for her bags jiya just got on her break from the study session
"hey jeno" she said walking to the fridge, "hey jiya", "today, she's been having an off day"
"ah i see" he nods, "yeah so just make her happy" jiya said, "got it" he smiled
"okay im ready!" hani announced coming from her room, "behave you two, i'm watching you spiritually"
following him into his car, the two decided to go back to the dorms, just to hang out there
when they got there, it was awkward at first, until jeno asked her questions
"so you said you did pageants? why?", hani hummed "to get money to support myself, my siblings too"
"how many siblings do you have? im the only child so i got lonely", hani chuckles at his pouting state
"i have 2 younger brothers and one younger sister", "now my turn my questions"
"okay but can we order food im hungry" he whined, "thats fine with me" hani said sitting next to him while he orders
"i know being an idol is never easy when did everything ever become real?", jeno took a breath "honestly, it never does i still feel like im living in a dream"
hani was listening attentively, he's right nothing ever feels real especially to her, her wacky crazy personality is what drives her attention away from her real world problems
her parents on her ass, her always having to worry of her siblings ate enough, wondering if she had enough for rent, everything was to much for a 19 year old to handle alone
she was thinking about his words without noticing her tears her slipping, jeno became worried
"hani, are you okay" wiping away her tears, hani was brought back and sniffed "im not fine"
"but anything to live my day", jeno was quick to embrace her, "just let it out, its just me and you"
thats all it took to make hani cry waterfalls
he sat there stroking her hair, just letting her cry on him, relief is what everyone needs and if hani needed to cry jeno was willing to lend a comfort space
the crying calmed down a bit, "its been such a hard day, my brothers are sick my parents won't handle their costs so they rely on hanui and i" she explained
"hanui is your younger sister?" jeno asked, he felt hani nod since her head was on his chest
"i needed something to forget about that so thats why i asked to hang, my parents are shit and won't even take care of their own children"
"thats what money does to people, makes you forget priorities, i think your siblings a lucky to have you, i can never be in your shoes but you're doing great right now"
hani and jeno looked eyes for a moment, being lost in the moment but suddenly drawn to one another
to share another kiss, but it felt different this time. they were sober and completely aware of their doings.
