"Thanks, Q I'll come back real soon girl" I smiled and waved to her.

"Alright Faith girl be careful out there," she said as she waved back.

I just got my hair done since those braids we're starting to show all of my new growth. So I took them out last night and booked an appointment with Q one of my old friends and got a lace installed.

I got jet black hair since I haven't tried that color yet and I like it so far.

I hopped in my car and started the engine. I back out of the parking space and drove off onto the road.

I was going into work late today so I decided to stop at home first for somethings I needed.

I pulled into my driveway and killed the engine. I hopped out of the car leaving my bag in there and grabbed my keys.

I unlocked the door and walked into the house. It smells like perfume I put on before I left.

I went into my room and to my desk and grabbed my laptop and a couple of files. As I was about to walk out of my room my phone ringed.

I sat the files down and pulled my phone from my pocket and pressed answer.

"Hello" I spoke into the phone.

"Hey Faith it's William" his voice boomed into the phone.

"Oh hey, what's wrong your computer caught another virus again"

"No, I actually called to see how you were doing" he chuckled

A smile came across my face when I heard him say that.

"Oh I'm doing good, what about you"

"I'm good to just been doing work that's all"

"Same here, but I want to apologize to you about my boss yesterday. He tends to get very aggressive with things sometimes"

"It's cool he seems like he just wants the best for the company"

"Hmm" I hum and picked my files up.

"So I was wondering if you're busy this Friday"

"Um no, I'm free why" I checked my calendar that was on the wall.

"I wanted to take you to dinner you know just to get to know you a little more. You seemed like a cool person yesterday"

"I wouldn't really consider myself cool but thanks so were you"

"Okay I'll be picking you up around 8:30"

"Yea sure, I should be ready by then"

"Alright well I have to get back to work"

"Me too see you Friday"

"See you Friday," he said making a smile appear on my face.

I hung up the phone then continued my way out of my house. I closed the door and walked to my car putting the files in the passenger seat.

I started the car again and backed out of the driveway.

I pulled off making my way to work with a smile on my face. The whole ride I couldn't stop thinking about seeing William Friday.

He said he wants to have dinner...with me!

I feel like an excited little school girl waiting to see her crush at school. But I don't want to keep thinking about it and then something comes up and it gets canceled.
