After being excommunicated from her family, Yolanda remained in Spain. She had admitted herself into a special mental institution for ill witches, in which she would be aided by other witches back to sanity. Daisy returned with her friends to Luna Nova Academy, everything seemed like nothing had ever happened. As the hot weather of Summer marched in, Akko and her teammates went outside for a stroll around the campus. "Ah, I love this time of the year!" Akko sighed, "The weather is nice, the skies are blue, what's not to love?"
--"Mushrooms are growing by the handful," Sucy sighed, sniffing a mushroom. "I'm more worried about the full moon coming in a few days," Rogelio sighed, "but, this time it will be different!"
--"Oh? How come?" Lotte asked. "Andrew said he has a special plan for me," Rogelio replied, "supposedly it's gonna help me control the hairy beast."
--"Don't call it that..." Akko said. "I'm just glad everything's back to normal," Amanda dropped in, "you do know what's the day after tomorrow, right?"
--"Oi! It's the first Broomball match!" Lydia exclaimed. "I know Diana is gonna lead us into victory," Amanda smirked, "or at least I hope she does, otherwise I'll ask Coach Nelson to make me the captain, as I should!"
--"Hey! Diana will make the team win!" Akko shouted angrily. "Right," Amanda rolled her eyes, "you don't like it when I slander the crap out of your girlfriend."
--"Crikey! Calm ya roosters, Mandy!" Lydia gasped. "You're just petty that you weren't named captain!" Akko snapped, "No wonder your mesh is green, the color of envy!"
--"What the hell?! Take that back!" Amanda shouted. "Make me!" Akko barked. "Cut it out, you two," Daisy intertwined, "every day with you two is just a new headache. Diana isn't that bad of a captain--"
--"Ha!" Akko interrupted. "--But she isn't exempt from criticism either," Daisy finished. "Ha!" Amanda snapped. "If you two behave like this on the match, I will behead you with my bare hands," Daisy snapped, "am I clear?"
--"Yes, Daisy," Akko and Amanda said. "Laurie! Wake up!" Darcy knocked at the door. "Good morning, Darcy," Lauren opened, "how do you do?"
--"Tomorrow's the big day!" Darcy said excitedly, "Our match against Luna Nova!"
--"So soon?" Lauren gasped. "I know the team will come through tomorrow!" Darcy said excitedly, "Of course, they have me as captain! We're gonna kick Luna Nova's butts!"
--"Careful with that cockiness, Darcy," Lauren said, "it can sometimes be your worst enemy..."
--"Pfft, I'll be fine!" Darcy shouted, "You'll be there to cheer for me, right, Laurie?"
--"Of course!" Lauren chuckled dreamily, "I'll be there to cheer you on!"
--"I love you so much, freckle-faced," Darcy smiled, kissing her girlfriend's hands, "I'll see you during lunchtime," she winked before heading back down the hall. "Where have you been?!" Kaia Herangi shouted, "You know what tomorrow is, right?"
--"Are you kidding? I have it marked on my calendar!" Darcy replied. "Say, is your girlfriend gonna be cheering you on?" Roxanne Coleman smirked. "You betcha!" Darcy exclaimed, "She's gonna be my lucky charm!"
