The next day, the girl woke up with a light knock on the door, a servant entered the room who helped her bathe and brought her food. Grellie had no idea what time it was, she only knew it was day, by the light from the window, she saw very little to be aware of the time. Dressed and with a covered stomach, the young woman left the room. The memories came when she saw Barnett's office, the man she thought was her father, but she knew that deep down, he wasn't.

The girl knew that she would have to face that truth, but she didn't know what to do with the truth at hand, would she reunite her aunt's family? Would she summon what was left to announce that she was the firstborn and the daughter that was left? Or would you keep everything and pretend that nothing has changed? -She thought. He was in that office again, it was becoming suffocating for the young woman, the deafening and agonizing silence, little by little, made the young woman restless.

—I know it was strong for you, it was painful and agonizing for me. The pain of everything and mourning is enough for me. If you want to know about him, here it is, everything I know.—Angelina said, handing over the notebook, without expressing any features outside of fatigue.

Grellie took the notebook and opened it, and there he read the notes, read letters from his biological father that she handed to his mother, recognized his handwriting, even the expensive perfume that was steeped in the letter. There were in that notebook, old and somewhat deteriorated documents, and she had some of them that talked about her father's work report. He was involved to the head with supernatural cases, involving demons and something called Shinigamis that were described as death itself.

However, a common document caught her attention, a birth certificate. There were two names on it, where Grellie noticed that there were in her father's reports, the names were, Cláudia Phantomhive and Undertaker AC Still tearful and curious, the girl kept the notebook and went looking for clues, took another clean notebook, and assembled names , places and what the reports said, and everything connected the two names. Fearful, she decided to do nothing. She would keep that secret for now with me, after all, that man was no longer with us ... or was he? -She thought.

Months passed, and Angelina met a new freshman doctor at work, he was recently graduated, a young man, handsome and intelligent, however, quiet, in his twenties, and he was accompanied by his father, who was a wealthy count and that he was also specialized in the field of medicine, and that he was looking for a young woman to marry his son. The man who had been close friends with Angelina for years, asked the woman to give her daughter's hand in marriage, realizing that the boy, who was even shy, decided to accept.

When she returned, she decided to talk to her daughter. Both had dinner and went to sleep, as usual, Angelina would say "good night" and take the opportunity to talk. She knocked lightly on the door and went in, saw her daughter already lying on the bed reading a book.

—Honey, before I wish you a good night, I wanted to talk to you.— she told Madame Red.

—Well, say.—said the girl.

—You know you're getting married, right?— Grellie fearfully and taking a deep breath nodded.

—I talked to Count Spears, he is a close friend, of long standing and with a lot of respect, he asked me for his hand, to marry his son, William Theodoro Spears. You're not upset, are you? —Madame asked worriedly when she saw the sad face of her daughter.

—That's not it, I'm afraid.— said the young redhead.

—He is a good boy and will be kind to you. But if he does anything, I'll take his eggs, literally. —Said the mother making her daughter laugh.

—To be honest, if he does you any harm, don't hesitate to kill him, right?—Angelina asked and Grellie nodded.

—That's my girl. Good night.—said Angelina, who kissed and left the room.

Weeks later, Grellie was being dressed, the red dresses with pink bows were put on her thin and delicate body, the makeup was done, the hair with two short Marias. There she was, in the Spears' lounge, seeing her fiancé for the first time. The man was handsome, elegant, yet silent and cold. Grell wondered how she was going to handle it, even though she learned to embroider, cook and the like, she didn't feel ready for a wedding, not after all that.

The conversation comes and goes between the parents of the young people, however, the couple remained silent, each, submerged in their thoughts. When she least noticed, on her finger was a diamond engagement ring, she was a committed woman now. And at that moment, both her mother and the earl were pushing the couple to walk in the garden in order to get closer. Silent and side by side, they walked on the flowers of different colors, tired of the monotonous silence, she sat next to the red roses and enjoyed them smelling their perfume. She felt the look  burning on her back and turning to see the man's gaze on her, she shrugged as if she didn't care about the boy's presence.

—Are you going to shut up for eternity?— Grellie asked laughing.

—No. An honor to meet you.—William said.

—You don't look honored, but yes, upset.—Grellie said, laughing.

—The lady doesn't seem happy either.— William replied and the girl's smile died.

—I have to agree, I don't want to marry either.—Grell said, twirling the rose between his fingers with sadness on his face.

—I apologize for my father's choice, I know you are not pleased, but I will do my best to serve you— said William and Grellie, sighing sadly at the man's lack of expression and cold behavior, and also, his feelings. at that time they were absent for that occasion.
