I couldn't believe it. I was chosen to represent Ukraine in the Eurovision Song Contest!

"Lauren come here right now!" Lauren is my bestfriend, we have been friends since middle school and basically we live together. "What do you want?" She said, as she jumped on to the bed.

"I was chosen for the Eurovision Song Contest!!!" This was such a big moment for me. "What? Oh my god!! Im happy as long as you are taking me with you." I knew Lauren so much and I knew she was going to say that. "Of course I will. Oh and we have to go to Rotterdam right now so pack your stuff!"

"Y/n hurry up we are gonna miss the flight!" Lauren was always so panicked but right now, she was right. We both ran to catch the flight.

"Phew all that running made me exhausted and I stayed up all night wondering when the results will come out." Seriously though, they just said a day of when they will come out no time no nothing. "Y/n lets see the other participants that made it through.

"I have to say y/n that Italy's vocalist is pretty hot. But I think if I had to choose I would choose, the long haired guy." That was what Lauren was always thinking about, the hot guys. "Their names are Damiano, Victoria, Ethan and Thomas." I said while pointing at which ones they are.

We made it to our hotel room and put our luggages on the floor. "Lets go eat something y/n." I was pretty hungry so I nodded and we went to lunch.

Surprisingly all the participants were at the same hotel.

"Ooh y/n I spot the hot Italian guy... See ya!" Before I could tell her to stay next to me she had already left my side. I was awkward enough and just standing there would make me even more awkward, so I decided to go next to her.

"Oh hey y/n. This is my friend y/n."

"Hi y/n!" Victoria said then Thomas and then Ethan and..

"Hey y/n." Damiano said last with a gentle smile. His voice was hoarse yet so smooth.

Y/n stop simping...

I told myself. This happens to me very frequently.

Lauren was talking to Thomas, Victoria and Ethan, but Damiano was looking at me.

"So y/n what country are you representing again?" That same voice told me. "Oh im representing Ukraine. You guys are representing Italy, right?" I wanted to add something else and start a conversation so it would be less awkward.

"Yes we are." He replied with a soft smile.

"Did anyone ever tell you how pretty you are?" He asked me while putting a strand of my hair behind my ear. I blushed. "I dont know to be honest. But has anyone ever told you how handsome you look?" We both smirked and laughed.
