That very night

Job didn't waste time to report to his Lord

" My Lord I-"

" Failed!"

" I assure my Lord I did-"

" Not enough, what will be your punishment?"

" My Lord-"

" Death!"

He was almost strangled to death when Job found in him enough breath to speak out

" My... father...wants..mphh..yo.."

He stopped

" My father wants to meet my Lord."

He said before getting some air.

" Why?"

" To decide about the marriage. He is the one with the final say if dad is convinced then..."

" Good arrange for it."

A week passed and finally came the day.

The meeting day

Nervousness could be read on our faces but mine, I wasn't just nervous but afraid.

He is here. Just behind the door.

I could feel it.

The bell went on and a servant rushed to open it. I almost wanted to stop him, but father and grandpa were already standing next to me followed by grandma and the rest.

He was just faced to us, waiting to be invited.

" Young master Lu, come in! We are so happy to receive you here"

" I don't have much time on my hand"

" Of course I know that so let me introduce-"

" No need to introduce your family I know all of them let's get to the point."

So rude at least he just sends out chills like a real business man. I'm curious of what he's planning and why is it now. As for Vivian, she sure was surprised.

" My Lord... I mean young master I'm-" ( Vivian)

" The point. Job. "

He was quite impatient and arrogant too.

" Is his majesty so impatient? Then why come?"

He turned to me and smiled.

Wait! He smiled?

I'm sure he even did it better than Rikkard Ambrose though just a fiction but at least he seems more human than what is in front of me but... Shock.

I'm shocked and I'm not the only one.

" Of course I'm mostly here to see you"

That... What is he doing? Playing nice to me and bad to the others? Is he trying to play some type of card? That..aaarrrrggggh! I can't even get words to describe this thing in front of me!

But he sure left an impression on everyone.

" Young master seems quite interested in Ella"

" When have I said that?"

" You.."

" I'm not interested, I said I want her to be my wife. Not that I'm interested"

"But to marry someone you should be interest-"

He sent a cool glare to my father, who couldn't speak anymore words.

" Are you threatening my father?"

" Of course not-"

" I won't accept you and I don't accept you"

It was my turn to cut him off. Feels so good

" What about your family's company?"

" Why will I sacrifice for ingrates?"

" Ella!" ( Father Jake)

" Ingrates? Is finding you someone good being ingrate?" ( Grandpa)

" Yes Ella how could you say that?" ( Helen)

" Aren't you ingrates? If you approve of any marriage before I tend 21 then you're not taking me in to consideration"

" Ella-" ( Jake)

" What?! Ella what? You're always siding with them but they don't at all. Always-"

He slapped me?!

I, his daughter was slapped for..

I'm quite sure they are satisfied now.

" Ella, I.." ( Jake)

Tears were willing to fall but I didn't want to show any of it.

" I approve of your marriage. Ella is young so be patient with her and about the company...." ( Jake)

" Jason are you sure about this?" ( Grandpa)

" Yes.. Ella, you know this will always be your home so if you feel like-" (Jake)

" You slapped me, approved of a marriage for your family. What about me? "

" Ella ..."

" Everyone could fail me but you... I'm disappointed."

" Ella, just look at him. I'm sure he will be good to you-" ( Jake)

" Nonsense! What do you know? Can't I make my own choices?! I'm breaking off with you Mr. Jake Michaelson and I hope you won't regret it."

" Ella..."

" You won but now I most surely have nothing to loose."

I said before leaving them in a haste.
