Chapter 14: I love you Mishti

Abir sensed something was wrong. His heart gave him a message that some one needed him. Someone who was his own needed him. Abir was distracted by these thoughts and he bumped into chotu.

Chotu was running like a pro.
A: kya hua chotu? Itna tez kyu bhag rha ha?
C: Abir bhaiya..  vo.. naa .. chemistry lab se dhua ( smoke) .. nikal.. raha.. ha.. kuch.. lafda..
Abir was horrified. Mishti was in the lab. He ran to the lab climbing almost 3 steps at a time.

Meanwhile smoke started coming from the lab and everyone was gathering there. Abir reached there and screamed; " Mishti! Mishti! Tum theek ho ? "
No answer. He opened  the door and lot of smoke came out, causing everyone to cough. He could not even enter inside.

On the other hand, everyone came to know of this and Naira and others prayed for Mishti s safety.
Abir panicked and dragged chotu downstairs with him
A: chotu, vo seedhi ( ladder)  leke aa.
C: par bhaiya..
A: abhi sawaal mat puch. Seedhe leke aa chemistry lab ke window ke bahar.

Chotu nodded and ran to fetch the ladder. Abir came rushing outside in the lawn area.
K: kya hua Abir ?
A: vo Mishti.. chemistry lab main phas..
K: oh no!
Erica and Naira ran to get some help possibly while Varun called the ambulance.

Chotu bought the ladder and asked:
Upar kaun chadega ?
A: main hi jaunga..meri Mishti phas gayi ha.
Kartik smiled and signalled chotu to hold the ladder.
Abir climbed up with out wasting a second.

He slowly pushed the window and stepped inside.
He screamed: Mishti! Kaha ho tum ? Mishti..
His heart was beating at an unmatchable rate, his body was shivering and his mind was blank.

Suddenly he spotted her petite figure, lying unconscious amongst the blanket of smoke.
He went to her and patted her cheeks.
A: angry chorni! Utho na! Plz.. muje ajeeb Rajvansh bulao na.. dekho main tumhe tang nahi karunga.. please utho..
He kept her head in his lap, but she was not waking up, as she had inhaled a lot of smoke.

Meanwhile the expert team arrived and they saw Abir and Mishti and helped them to move out from the smokey room.
One of the experts  told Abir:
I think she has inhaled a lot of smoke, please take her to the hospital right now other wise it will be difficult to save her.
Abir almost fainted after hearing this and picked up Mishti in his arms and rushed outside.

K: Abir bahar ambulance ha..
A: ok
He ran with Mishti in his arms.
They reached out and Mishti was put on the strecher and taken to the hospital.
Abir was caressing her head and had clutched her hand tightly.
Kartik and Varun also sat in the ambulance.

After some time they reached the hospital.
A:(screaming) doctor! Doctor! Koi hai?
Kaha ha doctor?
A lady doctor came to him: yes kahiye?
A: dekhiye na doctor, yeh chemistry lab main thi, waha kuch hua aur yeh muje behosh mile.. aap check kijiye na jaldi..

Dr: yes mr.. she checked on Mishti and said: nurse! Jaldi se unhe emergency room main le jao.. main aati hoo
A: emergency.. kya hua ha.. vo.. theek ho jayega na..
Dr: don't worry, apki wife ko kuch nahi hoga..
Abir did not mind the doctor calling Mishti his wife.

The doctor went in the room to treat Mishti and the sister handed Abir the form.
He filled the form but stopped when it was required to specify his  relation with the patient.
K: kya hua bhai?
A: relation main kya likhu ?
K: wahi jo tum dono ka rishta ha
A: ha friend likh deta hoo
K: tu  na gadha hi rahega.. jeevan bhar.
A: Kartik yar!

V: ek kaam karo..
A: you just shut up!
K: Abir.. calm down..
V: fine, before I shut up.. I want to say something.
Abir made a face.
V: main tumse kuch sawaal puchunga
A: yeh waqt sawaal jawab karne ka nahi ha..
K: Abir yar.. ek baar sun toh le..

A: karo tumhare faltu sawal
V: close your eyes
Abir gave a disgusting expression and closed his eyes
V: sirf ha ya naa bolna aur kuch nahi
A: theek ha
V: kya tumhe Mishti ki fikar ha?
A: haa
V: kya tum abhi dar gaye the ?
A: haa bahot
V: kya tum Mishti se saath rehna chahte ho?
A: haa

V: kya tum apne life uske sath spend karna chahte ho ?
A: haa
V: kya tum usse pyaar karte ho?
A: haaa
That was it! Kartik and Varun smiled.

Abir flashed his eyes open and realised what had happened. He was in love! He realised that he loved her. He loved his Angry Chorni! He loved Mishti. His heart gave full approval.
He danced and jumped like a kid. Kartik smiled and hugged him.
Varun also smiled.

Flashback:
Kartik bumped into Varun.
V: oh sorry!
K: it's ok.. aap Varun ho na
V: haa
K: maine notice kiya ha.. aap Mishti ko..
V: bahot pasand karta hoo
K: lekin..
V: aapka dost Abir bhi usse pasand karta ha na...
K: tumhe kaise pata..
V: pyar dikh jata ha.. aur Abir ki aakho  main saaf saaf dikhta ha.. ki vo kitna pyar karta ha Mishti se.

Kartik smiled more.
V: shayad Mishti bhi..
K : ha muje bhi lagta ha..
V: toh mission Mishbir ?.
K: kya ?
V: dekho.. maine  apne life main ulte sulte kaam bahot kiye ha.. lekin for the first time I want ki do dil mil jaye..
Kartik smiled and hugged him
K: ok done mission Mishbir.
They both joined hands.

Present:
A: Kartik! Main.. Mishti se.
K: ha.mere bhai.. tu usse saccha pyar karta ha..
A: haa main pyar karta hoo.. yahoooo...
The nurse came: dekhiye sir, aap abhi hospital main ha.. aisa baccho wali harqaate na kare.. kabse se dekh rahi hoo.. varna doctor se keh dungi ki aapko yahi admit karva de!

Varun and Kartik laughed silently while Abir was speechless. He had just realised his love. The girl he loved to annoy, tease, fight with and now he just wanted to  love her.
A: Varun , I am so sorry.
V: tumne admit kiya na ki love her.. isliye maaf kiya.. varna nahi karta
A: (smilling) really sorry bro!
V: it s ok
And they hugged.
K: Aaray yar! Main bhi
A: jalkukda! (Jealous)

The trio laughed and hugged.
The doctor came.
A: doctor meri Mishti kaise hai?
Dr: aisa toh theek ha.. unhone bahot zyda smoke inhale kiya tha.. toh breathing problem ho rahe the. Accha hua time pe le aaye.. varna ..
A: please doctor..
Dr: aap yeh medicine le aayege..
Kartik went to get the medicine.
Dr: she s very lucky that unhe aap jaise caring aur loving husband mile.

Abir blushed and smiled. His signature smile, the brightest one. After realising his love, he did not mind being called  Mishti s husband.
Varun hit his shoulder.
A: dr usse hosh kab aayega?
Vo khatre se bahar ha?
Usse discharge kab milega ?
Dr:(smilling) Aaray array relax. Unhe  hosh aane main 2 se 3 ghante aur lagenge. Aap unse mil sakta ha.

Abir rushed to meet her not before filling the form. In the relation with the patient space he wrote " mera sab kuch" and handed the form to the nurse. He slowly went in her room. She was sleeping like a baby, with oxygen mask on her face and drip attached on her hand.

A: I am so sorry angry Chorni. Tum meri vajah se iss problem main padi. Maine bola tha ki tum chemistry lab main jao. Agar tumhe kuch ho jata toh main kya karta! Main bahot dar gaya tha. Main tumhe nahi kho sakta. Bilkul nahi. "I love You Mishti, meri angry Chorni"
A lone tear escaped his eyes and fell on Mishti s hand.
He lovingly caressed her forehead and kissed her there. He clutched her free hand and also kissed it.
A: Mishti, I promise main yeh haath khabhi nahi chodunga.. hamesha tumhara saath dunga.. pakka.. bas tum jaldi se hosh main aa jao..

Then he left room and came out. He went to his partner, his Bappa and said" partner.. aapka bahot bahut thank you, meri Mishti ko theek rakhne ke liye. Bas ab use jaldi se theek kar dijiye."

K: Abir.. sun
A: haa bolo
K: tuje Mishti se I love you se phele kuch aur kehna hoga
A: matlab
K: tere bare main sab kuch
The colour from Abir s face drained off.
A: lekin..
K: nahi Abir.. himmat kar aur bata de. Apna rishta Zoot se nahi sach se shuru kar..
Abir nodded and prepared himself to tell every thing about his past to the girl who was his future, his sabkuch.
