Aviana laid on the examination table while the doctor rubbed the EcoVue gel on her stomach, "it's going to be cold." The doctor warned.
The silent room filled with the loud sound of her baby's heartbeat. Avi's eyes filled with tears.
thump..thump..thump
"Oh my goodness...I can't believe it." Avi cried as her voice slightly broke. She didn't know how to feel.
"Everything looks healthy with the baby, but Aviana your blood pressure is a little high, you might want to remove any stressors in your life. We don't want you to have any complications during the remainder of your pregnancy."
A part of her was ecstatic but deep down she couldn't stop thinking about her first pregnancy. She knew Syaire loved children they even talked about having kids of their own, or if they couldn't conceive kids of their own there was always adoption.
"How far along am I?" Avi asked the doctor.
"12 weeks. Would you like to know the baby's gender?" The doctor asked Avi with a smile on his face.
"Yes. I want to surprise my boyfriend." Avi smiled.
"Okay. You're having a...."
Hearing the baby's gender Avi was super happy and she couldn't wait for Syaire to get home from his trip. He's been gone for about three weeks.
When he left Avi hadn't been feeling good at all. Syaire wanted to stay and take care of his lady but Avi suggested he'd go and she'd be fine.
After the first two weeks she still hadn't been feeling better so she took an at home pregnancy test & it was positive.
Avi walked to her car, she unlocked the door and placed her things on the backseat than got into the drivers seat.
Once she was settled in her phone rang, "hello? This is Aviana."
"Hey sexy mamas, how's your day?" Ayja spoke over speaker phone.
"It's been good. I just came from my doctors appointment. yourself?"
"Hectic. Nayeem has football practice & Ri has to go to her dance recital." Ayja let out a deep sigh.
"Well I can take Yeem to his practice while you take Ri to her recital. I'll be there in 19."
"Thank you so so much!"
"No problem. You know I got you sissy pooh."
"Oh and I have to surprise my baby tonight. So we gone to the store." Avi informed.
"Cool. I need a break anyways." Ayja let out a small giggle.
The sisters hung up and Avi made her way out to Ayja's house to get her now 14 almost 15 year old nephew.
Avi pulled up to Ayja's house.
Ayja and Ri were walking to the tan suv while Yeem was leaning against the porch railing. Avi blew the horn making Yeem look up from his phone.
He walked to the car and got inside the front seat.
"Hi TiTi Vi." said Yeem side hugging his aunt.
"Hey baby. you ready? got ya seatbelt on?"
"yes ma'am."
They pulled off and went to practice than went to target after so Avi could make a cute little gift box for Syaire.
