Darlene: I think he's an avenger
Gideon: I don't remember him
Paul: I overheard him say something about Wakanda sending him to deliver the case
Gideon: okay, I don't remember him from the Avengers but you must have misheard
Gideon: there's no way he's from wakanda
Gideon: and why would wakanda send a white man to run errands for them, it makes no sense
Paul: I don't know but I swear I heard Wakanda
Darlene: maybe he's one of Thor's friends or something
Gideon: why would wakanda get an alien to run errands for them?
Paul: I don't know, all I know is that he's really strong
Paul: and what's up with his arm? it looked weird
Gideon: I didn't notice

Darlene: he has a metal arm, that's definitely a metal arm
Gideon: I think you're right about him being an avenger

Darlene: he tore part of the siding off the boat in one go, that's not normal
Darlene: doesn't wakanda have insane tech? maybe you did hear that
Paul: I swear I heard Wakanda
Gideon: other places make metal arms
Paul: but not strong ones like that
Gideon: why the fuck would a white man be walking around with wakandan tech attached to his body like that
Gideon: it's even weirder than him running errands for them
Darlene: I'm telling you, he's an avenger
Darlene: he fixed the pipe without even using the metal arm
Gideon: did you hear his name?
Paul: I think he said Bucky
Gideon: might be some kind of super soldier, they're strong
Gideon: he knew steve rogers anyway, I remember him talking about sam and someone named bucky in an interview during the blip
Darlene: told you he was an avenger and that I overheard Wakanda
Darlene: sarah told us not to worry about sam and I saw people talking online about everyone they framed was in Wakanda and nobody wanted to fuck with them
Paul: I don't remember him from before that but I couldn't keep all the avengers straight
Paul: I'd buy that he was an avenger and they were hiding out in wakanda together
Gideon: it sounds possible when you put it that way but what the fuck
Gideon: how fucking random is that shit?
Paul: I just googled "bucky steve rogers" and the government pardoned him after the blip
Paul: so they must have framed him too and had to walk it back
Gideon: did it say anything about Wakanda?
Paul: still reading
Paul: yes
Paul: they wanted him to get rid of the arm as a condition of the pardon because they said it was Wakandan tech and too dangerous for a super soldier assassin to have
Paul: still don't know I believe all of it, some of it sounds like something they'd say to frame someone
Darlene: told you I heard Wakanda
Paul: arm thing seems real, though, king t'challa's sister put out some statement about being confident that it was a misunderstanding because that demand would be an insult to her judgment
Paul: apparently she made it??
Paul: anyway they backed down real fast
Gideon: that's the most random thing I have ever fucking heard
Darlene: told you that arm was weird
Gideon: yeah, yeah
Gideon: does it say anything else?
Paul: bucky barnes, he knew the real captain america when they were kids
Gideon: okay, fine, a 100 year old white avenger from Wakanda who might be a super soldier showed up to deliver Wakandan tech to Sam and is now having a beer while he helps fix the boat
Gideon: in my defense who the fuck would have guessed that shit
Paul: yeah that's random as fuck
Darlene: they're friends, i overheard sam making fun of him
Darlene: good enough for me
Gideon: yeah, not really interested in the government's story
Gideon: they lie about all kinds of shit
Gideon: they called sam a war criminal because he didn't want to register as a superhuman because he knew how to use wings the fucking army gave him
Paul: yeah i'll believe the avenger and wakanda part but whatever shit they said he needed pardoning for is probably lies
Paul: if he was dangerous sam wouldn't have him here around everyone
Darlene: nope
