Once you were safely back in the limo, you let yourself relive the meet and greet. Did you actually do the best you could? Probably not. However, there was no negating the fact that you've grown more in confidence about where your relationship stands.

When you got back to the house, you study the house for the first time in a while. It had become so familiar to you. The freedom you felt in it made it feel like your own home. There was still something about it though, that just felt empty.

"Let's have a bonfire," you suggest.

He looked at you confused, "What?"

"You know, on bonfire, drinks, close friends, music... This house is missing life, and it's Christmas Eve, we should fill it with some laughter and joy," you explain.

He considers for a moment, as his hand comes up to rub the back of his head, "You do know parties take planning, right? There's catering and decorations and you know... notice."

"Celebrity parties take planning," you emphasize. "I'm talking about having a few friends over tonight to just ring in the Christmas spirit." He didn't seem convinced, "Come on, it would be fun. You have plenty to drink, we can order pizza, and I can invite Adrian. I'm sure you know some people who aren't doing much tonight, please," begging, you wrap him in your arms.

While he's looking down at you, he smiles, his tongue wetting his lower lip before he speaks, "Okay, fine. I'll go make some calls."

"Yay," excitement rang in your replay.

As he went to his office, you get Adrian on the phone. Even though you had to explain, more than once, that this was not an extravagant event, she was overjoyed. This was exactly what you were hoping for. A laid-back group of people getting together to just enjoy each other's company. It would be like your high school years all over again.

If there's one thing you know how to do, it's have a bonfire. You move the radio H/N had in the sitting room, out to the bonfire pit and get all of the bottles of the cheapest booze you could find moved to the outdoor bar area. Then you focus on finding whatever you could for anybody to snack on. There were some bricks of cheese in the fridge and some crackers, so you start cutting the cheese into slices. You had Adrian picking up some supplies for smores.

"Pizza will be here at 6," as if he were reading your mind, H/N walked into the kitchen while you were working on cheese. He glanced outside the sliding door, "Wow, you've been busy."

"You're about to see how I party back home. Thank you, for agreeing to this. I can't tell you how much I'm looking forward to it."

He comes up to hold you while you work, "You've already done so much for me, it's the least I could do," he kisses your temple. "Besides, I don't think I've used that fire pit since I moved in, so it's about time I put it to use."

"That's such a shame, bonfires were always so special in my family. They always held some of my most prized memories. I found it was the place where everyone was the most real, and I think that's what I need right now," you reminisce.

He held you tighter, "Well if that's what you need, then that's what you'll get. What do you say, when you're done, we head upstairs, and I'll show you what my most prized memory is?" He flirts, as his thumb rubs your nipple.

Your hypersensitivity had warmth spreading through your body, "Mmm, maybe I should cut cheese more often, if it puts you in this mood."
