When it Rains ; itafushi

    "Fushiguro?"

    Megumi heard a distant voice call as he was still asleep. He shifted his body slightly, wondering why he was being disturbed.

    "Hey, Fushiguro?" the voice called, much softer this time. Closer.

    The voice, was it Itadori's? No, that didn't make sense. Why would Itadori be with Megumi while he was sleeping? They have separate rooms and Megumi has never been the type to have sleepovers.

    "Megumi."

    And Megumi's eyes shot open. He then felt the entirety of his body pressed against another, trapped between the limbs of someone else. And there it was, that smell again.

    Oh god.

    Everything about the night before rushed back to Megumi. He couldn't even look at Itadori without feeling a wave of embarrassment crawl across his skin.

    "You alright? You slept for a long time, seems like you needed it!" Megumi could hear the smile in Itadori's voice without even having to look at him. He felt his cheeks prickle with heat.

    "Do you want me to move? I can.. if you want," Itadori said, his voice lowering in pitch. Oh lord help.

    Megumi seemed to finally emerge from his grogginess, now able to realize what position they were currently in. Megumi was facing the door to Itadori's room, with his back against the other's chest. Itadori's hand lay respectfully on his stomach, his arm draped over his side, while his other arm was underneath Megumi's head. Their legs were in a heap of a tangle.

Megumi could feel his heart rate speeding up.

"Um, yeah, that would be good," he murmured, and let out a tiny sigh as the other untangled himself from him.

"We didn't even finish that movie! I woke up and saw that you had fallen asleep, and the computer was gone" Itadori said with a laugh, scratching the back of his head while Megumi turned over to face him.

Megumi hummed, letting his eyes shut again. He was so tired. He stayed up later than usual, which was unlike him. He's always been the type to flop down and conk out.

He heard Itadori go quiet after a moment, but he didn't think to ask why, he just fell back into a light slumber.
