once he's says that i feel a little hurt that he didn't recognize me, but then again who would? i never went around them. all they saw was pictures.
y/n: i'm y/n, y/n madison barrett. i say calmly.
jaden: madison?? he says shocked.
y/n: yup(: that's me. i say gently.
jaden: wow, i haven't seen you in so long. you look great! he says nicely.
y/n: thanks. i say kinda sassy but not tHaT noticeable.
yes, when i first met jaden he was dating mads. so of course my dumbass asks about her.
y/n: how are you and mads doing? i says while unpacking some of my stuff.
jaden: we're uh, okay i guess. he says stuttering, but sad almost.
y/n: if you want we can talk about it. i say nicely.
jaden: uh, thanks. we uh, we're not happy in our relationship anymore. it's honestly became toxic tbh. he says being serious.
y/n: wow. i say shocked that he told me.
jaden: yup, anyways how have you been? he says changing the subject as if he doesn't like to talk about him and mads.
y/n: i've been great, you? i ask gently.
jaden: great actually. he says being truthful.
i then get a text message from nessa.

ness🖤
ness🖤: where you at?
y/n: oop, my b. i was unpacking and talking w/jaden. be there in a min. where you at?
ness🖤: ooOoo, talkingggg huh? also here's my location. *******
y/n: okay, see you in five.
nessa has always shipped me and jaden, so has half of sway and part of the girls. but i never looked in it that way. i then tell jaden i'm leaving and i go to where nessas location was.
when i get there she greets me and we just start talking about life. we basically catch up.
she tells me her music career is going amazing, and that she's just dropped her first song. she also tells me that her and josh are still together and going stronger then ever. she then asks me about me and i tell her everything. about school, to family, and yeah, that's it.
she then asks if im still writing songs and stuff and if im still singing. i reply back to her and say "in my free time, yes." she nods.
we've been talking for about two hours now. and we decided to head back to our dorms.
i was so glad that the first two weeks we didn't have classes just to get use to the school before.
tmrw is a saturday which i was thankful for.
when i get back to my dorm i walk i and see mads and jaden having there lil make out sesh.
of course i didn't want to see it so i coughed and then they stopped. mads ended up leaving anyways so i then just went to my bed and flopped down. i fell asleep within seconds.
—— next morning.
i wake up around 11:00 am. and the first thing i hear is someone whisper.
???: is she up?
who the hell is that?! i get up and turn and see nessa, josh, addison, bryce, and jaden.
addison: it's about time your up, you never sleep in.
y/n: yeah i know, i guess i was really tired last night.
addison laughs.
i then get up and shower, do my hair, and light makeup.

this was my outfit^. (yup, everything with it.)
i then walk out the bathroom and all eyes go to me.
y/n: what?! i say confused.
they all look away, i then see addison come up and ask if i wanna go grab coffee with her. and of course i said yes!
we were getting coffee and walking back when she asks about jaden. of course.
addison: soo.
y/n: sooo?
addison: jaden .. ?
y/n: oh yeah, he didn't even know it was me till i told him my name. like i had to say my wHoLe damn name.
addison: i feel your pain there. she says agreeing with me.
y/n: how's you and bryce?!
addison: great!! he actually asked me out on a date.
y/n: WHENN?!
addison: tmrw night ..
y/n: i'm helping you get ready. no buts.
addison: okay. she says while laughing a little.

we are all talking, and by all i mean addison, bryce, nessa, josh, and me.
when we see y/n start to move. i know i'm in a 'toxic' relationship with mads but y/n, she's just. so beautiful. anyways josh whispers "is she up?"
she then gets up and goes to the bathroom around 20 minutes later she's walks out in the most gorgeous outfit ever. her hair was up in a messy bun, her makeup done light but natural. much different from mads.
anyways i see addison get up and go after her and ask her something and then they leave.
as she was leaving i was staring, did i know that? nope.
josh: someone's crushing..
jaden: mhm?
nessa: oh come on, we see the way you look at her.
bryce: muchhh different then the way you look at mads.
josh: yeah dude, you need to get out of that toxic relationship.
bryce: josh is right. y/n, is right for you.
nessa: exactly.
jaden: woahhh, y'all think i like her?!
them: we never said you did or didn't but y'all look so good together, it's like y'all get each other.
jaden: mhm. i say making it sound a lil dramatic.
josh: so your options on y/n?
jaden: oh, uh, i uh, i don't know.
nessa: why so nervous?
bryce: is it because you might like her, jaden?

as we were walking in the dorm room we hear bryce go.

of course i say something.
y/n: like who?
they all turn and look at us standing in the door way.
nessa&josh: no one .. they say winking to jaden and looking at me.
of course i saw and looked confused, but then i just brushed it off like nothing happened.
