"What do you mean you thought it was me? Why would I be outside your door? I only enter the Girls dorms if it's an emergency."

You sat up a little, clutching the blanket closer to your chest- the smell of the freshly cleaned blankets calming your frantic thoughts.

"Earlier, when I said that I saw you with a student?" Aizawa's always tired eyes focused on yours, the memory the the magnetic eye contact earlier burned in your mind.
"Well, you said you were sick, right?"

"It was more like a pounding headache, but yes. Where did you see me?" The words he chose to describe his headache didn't help your blush. Maybe memory loss? Why couldn't he remember?

"Mr. Aizawa, I think someone has been, using your... Image."

"My image? Do you mean you think someone is impersonating me?" Aizawa's hand reached up to his temple, massaging it lightly. He looked down, as if collecting his thoughts or searching his memory. Aizawa looked back to you, making connections with your blushed cheeks and shy attitude. He was finally picking up what you couldn't say.
"I take it you saw, well, me, doing something inappropriate?" You nodded softly, bringing your legs closer to you, away from Aizawa's close hand. Aizawa remove his hands that were lingering on either side of you, slowly back to himself in realization of your previous position.
"I... apologize, I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable just now. Thank you for telling me." Mr. Aizawa paused, taking a moment to set himself the floor. You knew exactly what he was thinking. He had just lost his professional image to one of his students, but what you didn't know was that he was more embarrassed than he was letting on. After so many years of not overly  caring about his physical appearance helped to shield you from his emotions on the subject.

"Mr. Aizawa?" His embarrassment was interupted, and he replied with a small hum.
"What should we do? How do we inform the other students?"  Aizawa thought about you for a moment; you were in the top 5 of your class, of course you were older by 2 years compared to your classmates, and 3 to his 1A class- but you were on the same education level. Aizawa knew he could trust you more than any of his other students.

"Are you open to helping me? Find out who this imposter is? You know more on the situation than even I do at the moment, so it's the most logical way to go about things."

"Of course, what do you want me to do?"

"How well do you know 1A? I know you hang out with them and you train with them, but how well on a personal level?"

" Very well sir, although I'm not overly close with Aoyama, Mineta, or Bakugou..."
Aizawa thought for a moment- you were fairly close to the rest of the class, but could confirm the distance from you and the three you mentioned.

"Forget about Mineta, I'll deal with that little freak- but get closer with the other two."
But there was only one day left...?

"Sir? The year is ending- how should we deal with that?"

"Summer camp. We'll have to wait a week first of course... otherwise none of the students will go- better make it two actually. Do you have any family?" Most of your close family lives outside of Japan- you were the one paying for most of the schooling and you lived in a cheep apartment when not in school. The owner of the apartment building was a grandmotherly type who had a soft spot for your hard work- she gave you a free apartment in exchange for your help around the building in the summer.
"Just a friend really, I stay with her in the apartments a couple blocks from here."

"You and I could could either stay in the dorms here, or I could move into your apartment building." ?? Like... Move in together? Why would you need to stay together?
Aizawa must of read your confusion- so he further explained.
"You are at top risk right now, who ever this,  imposter, or intruder is, they know you saw something weird. What they don't  know is that you've told me. You need to start being a little... extroverted.  Complain how your apartment kicked you out for a higher paying customer- complain that you have to stay here. We want this person to know that you've going to be here."

"What about you? Won't it be suspicious if you stayed here?" You didn't think Aizawa lived here during the summer, did he?

"No. If there's extra activities or a summer camp, I usually stay here until it's over." Made sense, being a teacher and all, they had to prepare.

"How will we know if it's, really us?" Aizawa sighed, you were smarter than he was at the moment- he hadn't thought of that.

"Do you have any bracelets or rings? Anything custom made? Something no one else would have."
You thought for a moment, getting up and wrapping the sheets around you like a towel. There was a drawer in your desk where you kept small pieces of scrap metal and chains. Honestly it was a small game you played with Momo, testing her to make different shapes and different combinations of metals- it was fun at first, but now you just had a drawer full of the stuff- you didn't know what to do with it at first.
You quietly dug around, looking for something that said Aizawa to you.
"Here, where this, it can be a necklace- bracelet or whatever."
You placed a small, black, obsidian cat in his rough hand. The cat appeared to be playing with it tail, both eyes closed- but a third red eye on his forehead was open, it was a kite shaped ruby.
Aizawa actually seemed to like it, moving it around and looking at it in detail. Little did anyone know that it was a doodle you often made on your papers for Aizawa's assignments.
"I recognize this- I added a couple points on your final just for the sheer guts to doodle on my assignment-" you blushed a little at that- you didn't often receive little things like that- if you recall correctly, it had made your whole week when you saw his messy handwriting with the +2 next to it.
Changing the subject a little you gave Aizawa the box.
"Now you. Pick something that makes you think of me." Aizawa sat closer, looking at your eyes a short moment, before carefully digging through the drawer. He paused at a small, black, cracked pearl. He moved the pearl between his middle finger and thumb, before grabbing a black string and tying and interesting knot around it, forming a bracelet.
"There." Aizawa's monotone voice was soft- but still distant. He quickly stood up, grabbing a second black string and tying it through the hole on the pendent you gave him, and wearing it around his neck. He glanced at your alarm clock. 05:56. It was very late.
"I'll talk to you tomorrow. I need to get back to my room." Aizawa left back through the balcony, frighteningly and quietly using his captureing weapon to swing up to the roof and leave.

There you sat. Never feeling so alone as you did right now. You couldn't trust anyone anymore. You set rules for yourself until this was figured out.

1) Don't trust anyone
2) Never be alone with two or less people, unless it's the real Aizawa
3) Lock all of your doors at all times.

...and don't fall in love with Aizawa Sensei
