Sapnap glanced to the side-mirror of the car, amidst the fog he awaited a figure to walk by. His timing should be correct, days of watching and lurking, surely he had it right this time.

He grabbed a silver bullet from his pocket, bringing it to his lips and kissing it with a soft smirk. He grabbed the revolver from the glove compartment. Sapnap opened the chamber and placed the bullet in, cocking it and glancing back to the side mirror, just as expected his target was walking past cautiously looking over his shoulder.

Sapnap opened the car door, letting the light from the inside crack onto the foggy sidewalk.

"Who, who are you!" The male stuttered, looking around anxiously, fiddling with his sleeves.
"Shut up" Sapnap raised the gun firing, hitting the male in the heart, he soon he'll down. Sapnap pulled a wooden stake from his pocket and towered over him, giving one last kick to him before bringing the stake through the same place the bullet travelled through.

Sapnap spat, shaking his head, he took a notebook from his pocket and a pencil, hovering the lead over some crossed out names and some untouched ones, he smiled to himself bringing the pencil through the name 'fundy.'

As he brought the pad of paper to his pocket he was knocked down by a strong force, the pad of paper and pencil skidding across the floor and out of eye range, he grunted in an attempt to pull himself up before a heavy body held him down, growling and grunting.

Sapnap opened his eyes, a large grey wolf was holding him down, the glowing yellow eyes were a give away that it wasn't just any animal, it was a supernatural being.

"Fuckin pussy, show your true form" Sapnap shoved the wolf off and into a wall hearing it yelp, he pulled the gun back out of his pocket and loaded it with another bullet as quick as he could, raising the gun as the figure shifted into midform, as suspected it was a werewolf.

He kept the gun raised, his hand steady and his aim precise for the head.

"Don't shoot-" The man muttered, his accent thick, he was clearly young, sincerity lacing his voice. British?

"Give me one good reason not to" Sapnap cocked the gun, the mans tone shaking, he raised himself walking towards sapnap, a cap over his head and his furry deep grey ears poking through the sides with a thick grey bushy tail curving down in fear.

"Look- i thought you were one of the bad guys, shit- fuck- look i swear, i didn't realise you were after Fundy too" His words were rushed, the gun obviously putting him on edge.

"Who do you work for?" Sapnap sneered, he didn't lower the gun once, keeping it high.

"fuck- puffy"

"Puffy?" Sapnap raised an eyebrow, lowering the gun, "Shit-" he continued, "We all thought she died" He sighed, putting the gun away, knowing the man must be trust worthy to be working for Puffy.

"We? there's more of you?" The male looked around, now in fear of being jumped.

"Me and my partner Quackity and a kid we look after called tubbo."

"Tubbo? Holy fuck" The male brought his hand to his head in surprise, a smile cracking his lips.

"I'm sure puffy will be happy to hear he's safe" Sapnap looked to the body then back up at the male, gesturing to his car.

The two got inside and Sapnap drove away from the scene and they began to talk.

"You're sapnap, aren't you"

"Yeah, the one and only." He chuckled adjusting the headlights so that he could see the road.

"How are Dream and George? Puffy talks about you all often, she came by your home in the woodlands a few months ago but it was abandoned." The male said, looking out the window.

"What's your name first of all?"

"Jack, jack manifold"

"Right, now i know your name, so that's a start."

"About Dream and George?"

"They're missing"

"Missing?" Jack cocked his head to look at sapnap who was focused on the road, not an ounce of expression was on his face, he simply kept his gaze on the road and his hands grasped on the steering wheel.

"Last year they went completely off the radar, ive searched everywhere. Now i'm resulting in hunting down their enemies, i don't know what else to do at this point" Sapnap sighed, continuing to drive through the road which was completely covered by large pine trees and roads filled with crisp green pointed leaves.

"Do you think they're alive?" Jack shifted in his seat, bringing his hand to his deep grey ears and scratching them.

"I'm not sure, My partner was attempting to track them for a while, it brought us back to their flat in east london where they were staying and that's where he lost their scent, it's almost as if they just vanished"

"That's not the first time that's happened, is it?"

Sapnap shook his head, followed by a deep sigh.

"When we were looking for Dream and George we searched Puffys old home, all we found though was her son Tubbo crying wrapping in a fur blanket, he told us his best friend Ranboo just disappeared. One second he was there next he wasn't, Tubbo refuses to be left alone now, hence why my partners stayed at home with him."

"Poor kid, sounds like he's been through hell"

"It gets worse, his Dads really sick at the moment practically on his death bed. The guy was a shit father but in his later years really stepped up when puffy went missing"

"I've definitely heard some stories about Schlatt" Jack chuckled, watching the trees fly past the car.

"Anyway, what were you doing out there?" Sapnap diverted the conversation, curiosity getting the better of him.

"The same as you" Jack muttered, pulling a photo from his pocket.

"What would that be?"

"Searching for Dream and George." He revealed the photo to sapnap, who quickly cocked his head to get a look, it being a photo of Dream and George from a distance, they looked worried, fearful.

Sapnap sighed turning back to face the road.

At least now he and Alex had some sort of lead.
