"Lost..."

Helpless and broken

The next day...

Dong Tian woke up feeling cold... He looked around himself only to find that he collapsed last night... He looked at the cake in front of him, he felt bitter.. he sighed and went to take a shower...

Tears streamed down and mixed with water coming from the shower.. He still remembered how he and Ying Jun used to  cuddle in the shower...

"*Sigh~ It's no use remembering those time" he said to himself as he walked out of the shower..

He got dressed and went out of the appartment house... He remembered that he had to check up on his dog and talk with the Veterinarian today... His dog 'xiao xiao' which Ying Jun brought home for him on their third anniversary of becoming lovers was now suffering from Canine parvovirus* and had been admitted to the hospital for three days already.

He came out from his appartment building and started to walk... He didn't like to drive cars because last time when he and Ying Jun went for a drive they almost had an accident.. after that he solemnly drove when he had to go somewhere far...

'ah snow's falling...it's cold' he thought as he looked at both of his hands...

"Ah it's cold today! Tian Tian let's hold hands!" Ying Jun chirped as he interlocked his fingers with Dong Tian...

"Sigh~ what are you gonna do when I am not here anymore.." Dong Tian said as he flicked Ying Jun's head...

"What are you saying! You'll always be with me!" He pouted

"Haha yes yes I'll always be with you!" He smiled brightly at Ying Jun..

" Promise me you'll always be here with me!" He said sulking...

"I promise I will always be with you but if you leave me first.. I'll break the promise alright!" he said laughing

"What are you saying! I'll always be with you" they laughed together and made promises to eachother...

"Liar... You said you'll always be with me..." He looked up at the sky...

'its going to snow heavily today'...

He started walking again... After an hour or so, he reached the hospital... He walked inside and saw many dogs and other animals with their owners... He wished that his xiao xiao would be able to come with him to his home soon as for Dong Tian, only because of xiao xiao he could still have a little hope or he would have already crumbled away...

He waited patiently for his turn... After some time he was called in... He went inside and saw xiao xiao laying  down on the strecher besides the doctor...

"Doctor Li... How is xiao xiao? When can she go home?" He looked at xiao xiao then at doctor Li with eyes full of hope...

Doctor Li looked at the young man in front of him with pity... He had seen this youth many times before aswell as xiao xiao.. he knew how much he loved him...

"Little Tian..." He hesitated to say what was in his mouth nevertheless he spoke " xiao xiao... She.. she might not be able to make it past tonight ..."

Dong Tian was shocked! He felt his heart ache as tears flowed down his pale white cheeks.. he could not accept this... Xiao xiao was his only support in his lonely world and now he was also being taken away from him...

"Doctor Li don't joke with me.." he said in disbelief as he frantically shook doctor Li..

"Little Tian... You have to accept the truth!" Doctor Li felt very sad seeing Dong Tian like this... He had looked after him for many years.. he practically watched him grow up..."You should call Ying Jun to take both of you home..."
