You're Important too

It's about four in the afternoon, and Ron came back to the Possible House. He didn't want to come back but he knew that the world needed to be saved. It needed Team Possible, well more like Kim Possible. After all, it was always about Kim. Ron was hardly ever appreciated or complemented, he was even literally cut out of the picture for a magazine cover. "Why is this bothering me?" He commented to himself. He never cared before, he would make dramatic comments but really couldn't care less. All that was important was him being there for Kim, to help her either by grabbing something, running away, being the distraction, whatever she needed he would do.

He shook his head as if it would make his thoughts roll to the back of his mind, and then knocked on the door. Mrs. Possible answered the door this time.

"Hello, Mrs. Dr. P"

"Hello Ron, come on in I have pasta on the table."

"Mmhmm Yummy!" Rufus said popping his head out of Ron's pocket. Ron came inside and they both started to head towards the kitchen.

"Here you go, eat up." Dr. Possible said while putting a bowl of pasta in front of him.

"Uh thank you."

She walked to the counter to prepare another bowl, trying to help her daughters best friend and boyfriend she asks; "So, what's going on between you and Kimmy?"

"What?" His head shot up, he wanted to answer but didn't want Kim to get into trouble. "I just got Kim distracted, which made Shego and Drakken get away."

"Was it on purpose?"

"No, I was trying to do what Kim asked me to do." He paused to eat some noodles, then continued "But I failed, not even my mad running away skills helped." He said looking down at his food in defeat.

"Ron, we all know Kim gets well hot-headed sometimes. Yet, even Kim knows you are more important than to catch the bad guy." She said placing a hand on his shoulder causing him to look at her.

Ron looked away and took a breath, "No, the world needs Kim to save it not for her to save me."

"Maybe so," She paused as Ron's head whipped around to look at her in shock, "But everyone in your world needs you, Ron." As she pointed to his chest. All Ron could do was give a shy smile, but that was enough for Dr. Possible to know he appreciated everything that just happened. Kim listened to that whole conversation hiding by the living room, she wanted to hear what they were going to say honestly.

"Hey mom, hey Ron." She says while coming into the kitchen.

"Hey Kim, you ready for the mission?"

"Yeah, Wade should be beeping in soon about it."

Mrs. Possible could feel there was still something going on. Even though she and Ron just discussed it and he felt better, the two of them need to figure it out. She may be a mom and always want to help out her Kimmy Cub, but this was not for her to fix. Kimmy needs to do this. Mrs. Possible lightly smiled and excused herself from the kitchen.

How? How was she Kim Possible, the girl who can do anything, able to fix this problem? All of her other crushes or boyfriends sorta ended and disappeared on their own. Granted the last boyfriend was a synthodrone who was evil, melted, and she went straight into a relationship with Ron. This was different though. They have been best friends their whole lives and she can't imagine her life without him. Ugh this is so frustrating, can't they just forget about the whole thing. Plus how is she calling him a loser at the moment worse than her leaving him behind? Is it really that he felt more confident because she never said it before? Oh, and she said it while they are dating. She said it when they are supposed to be in love, well crap. Now she gets it, plus it isn't his fault. He doesn't fight. He gets bullied all the time, but he never threw a punch. That's one of the things she admires about him. He is always dramatic but he hardly ever raises his voice or yells especially at her. They should talk about it at least, but as she was about to open her mouth her watch beeped.
