Next two weeks, James has been knocking doors of business people, only to face rejection.
James is quite disappointed. So does Lilly.
Jame's mom, dailed Daniel's daughter without his knowledge, and asked him to talk. The girl has been quite decent.
" Yeah, dad did tell me about you. He always gets the best for me. " The girl said. They talked for like half an hour, though James is unwilling.
" See, she is humble, clever and pretty. Don't over think. Break up with Lilly and focus on career." His mom said.
What will you choose, if you are in my shoes Lilly?" James asked Lilly the next day.
" What do you think?" Lilly questioned back.
"We have always prioritized career till date. Do you think somebody will give me a chance, or that I can do it with meagre savings? No.....I don't think I should be wasting time and energy anymore. " James sighed with guilt.
" So, you want to break up with me?" Lilly smiled, as her eyes brimmed.
" You always said, how time is important right!" James brainwashed by situations said.
" Good luck!" Lilly left. She isn't really mad at him, as she saw him struggling since 3 years, working on that project.
However it's difficult for her to work in same hotel again, as James to works there. James too is upset, but he has no other option.
" Who the hell cooked this food!" A customer is screaming her lungs out.
Lilly realized it's her neighbor, willingly doing to annoy her.
" We apologize!" The owner said, giving an irked look to Lilly.
" See, don't create drama! I know the food is good. Anyone doubting can take a bite and cross check!" Lilly who is already pissed off with life said.
" It's not how you talk to customers! " The owner frowned.
In the mean time, Lilly's phone rang.
Lilly attended the call from her Grandpa's neighbor, without paying attention to owner's taunts.
" He has been coughing profusely. I'm taking him to doctor," the neighbor said.
" Oh, no. I should visit him. I think I should better take care of him, until we find a new house help obeying our conditions." Lilly thought.
" How dare you ignore me and talk on phone? Either apologize or you will be fired. " The owner insulted her publicly, really bad.
"Such a loser, " the girl smirked, enjoying the drama she created.
" Do hell! " Lilly threw the juice on her face and left saying, " I resign!"
Next day, before leaving Lilly went to James home, wondering if he changes his decision and if they could find any alternative.
" He isn't home. He want to meet her yesterday. He is now at Daniel's home. You better not spoil his future." Jame's mom snapped the door on Lilly's face.
Lilly decided to never see his face again.
She took the train at 10 AM. She is tensed about her Grandpa's health, that she didn't realize her wallet falling.
"Hey your wallet!" A girl sitting opposite to her said.
" Yeah....thank you!" Lilly came into senses.
"I don't know, why you are upset but trust me everything will be fine!" The girl said. She has a positive aura.
" Yeah... thanks!" Lilly smiled.
" Myself Rose! " The girl said.

" I'm Lilly!"
" So, what's your destination!" Rose asked.
Lilly said that she is heading to near by town.
" I'm going there to. To my friend's home!" Rose said.
" Have a good time!" Lilly smiled as they departed after reaching the stop.
Lilly is busy the next week, taking care of her Grandpa. As he is recovering quickly, she thought she should get a part time time job, so that she need not rely on savings. She also want to move on and start a new life, flushing Jame's from her mind and heart.
James is missing Lilly. He thought of telling everything to Catherine and seek her help to convince Daniel, once they become friends. But he is afraid Daniel could destroy both him and Lilly, if the plan back fires.
As he is good at heart, he chose to be loyal to Daniel and Catherine, and forget Lilly. He is regretting but is reluctant to let go off golden opportunity.
She is getting groceries from the store, when she happened to see Rose again, who is ignorant while crossing the road, that the police is yelling at her.
