5. COINCIDENCE!?

Do you have a bf? You get alerted every time your phone beeps!" Grandpa asked Rose as they are gardening.

" No, but I have good friend who directs me." Rose said.

" Whatever, choose your partner wisely." He giggled. He almost is treating her like his own grand daughter.

Lilly noticed Rose's phone ringing when Rose isn't in her room.

" Hello, ...." Lilly felt a familiar voice when she attended the call.

Before she could tell the person to call back as Rose is busy in the hall, cleaning, Rose snatched the mobile away.

" Hey, is aunt fine? Is everything okay there?" Rose asked. Lilly left the room.

" Err..Sorry...it's an important call from my friend, I have to answer it." Rose explained Lilly.

" I understand. Is everything fine there?" Lilly asked.

" Yeah! May be they can't help me in dealing with my dad, even now. " Rose said disappointed.

"Don't worry. You can stay here as long as you want. I'm able lo focus on work, as you are here to take care of Grandpa." Lilly said compassionately.

Few more days and Lilly is elated, a popular restaurant owner gave her an offer to sponsor her budding business. They gave her a cheque of few bucks to focus on changing look of the stall.

Lilly quickly signed the contract and reached home all smiling around 6PM.

"Where is Rose?" She askedd her Grandpa, who just returned from park.

" She went to the market may be!" He said, as Rose goes out hiding her face.

The clock struck 8.

However Lilly is little tensed as Rose is neither attending the calls, nor reached home .

And her worst fear about Rose being caught by her step dad, started panicking her, as she found Rose's phone in the hall.

" I hope she is fine," Lilly mumbled waiting for Rose to return.

However she is shocked as none of Rose's belongings are found in her room, when she went inside casually.

" Why would Rose leave the house, without informing? May be she is abducted when Grandpa is out in the evening for a walk. " Lilly is nervous.

She rushed out asking the neighbors if they have seen Rose anywhere.

None of them could say anything, as Rose never really came in front of them. She kept her existence a secret.

Lilly realized that Rose's mobile has no SIM card either and rest of the data too is erased.

" Should I inform police? But I don't even have her picture," Lilly thought remembering how they always took snaps only on Rose's mobile.

" May be I should take check in CC camera footages at the market, " she thought.

" I have seen your friend at the station," the neighbourhood boy returning said.

" What?" Lilly is shocked.

" Where she could have been to? May be to her home. I think they have blackmailed her, I should help her," Lilly is bothered.

Lilly could just sleep. She rushed as early as possible in the morning.

She reached to that station by 9 AM. She looked around, wondering how to find Rose.

" Hasn't she reached yet?" James is mumbling, when he collided with Lilly.

There is silence for a moment.
