Only Temporary

   Not many words were exchanged between the two content, exhausted girls on the ride home. Neither of them can say for certain if they're legitimate girlfriends now or what exactly-but that can always be discussed later. What just matters is that they love each other. 

   Halfway through the ride home, Nanami finds herself getting sleeping and dozing off, resting her head on Nevermind's shoulders. Sonia smiles, wrapping her arm around the shorter girl and pulling her closer. Chiaki exhales softly, nuzzling into her chest. 

   "Last night in Novoselic for a while." The princess murmurs, stroking her companion's back. Chiaki hums back, drifting in and out of consciousness. 

   "We'll come back. . .We're going to be queens one day here. . ." She mumbles into Sonia's shirt. Said princess' face heats up.

   "Y-Yes! That is right!"

   The peach-haired girl chuckles before fully-falling back asleep.

   Nanami Chiaki is still sleeping soundly by the time they arrive back at the castle. Not wanting to wake her especially when she is sleeping so peacefully, Sonia takes her into her arms and opts to carry her back to her room like she did just the other night. Several servants offered to carry the gamer for her but the stronger-than-she-looks princess insists on doing it herself.

   She bridal-carries her through the now-quiet halls all the way back to her room. She gently lays her companion on the bed and takes off her shoes. She covers the sleepy girl in a blanket before tip-toeing out of the room, shutting the door behind her.

   The last afternoon in Novoselic, Chiaki and Sonia stand on a balcony holding hands and admiring the view.

   "You know, I am very grateful that you came along with me here. I am glad it was your name that it was your name that I blurted out whilst on the phone." The blonde says, leaning against the railing.

   Nanami smiles. "I'm glad too. This was a wonderful vacation. It certainly beats harassing Hinata-kun to take a break from either making out with his boyfriend or studying until he drops so that he'll play games with me. Ah, but anytime spent with you is a blessing. . .definitely." 

   Nevermind turns to fully-face her. "You are so sweet. . .Um, actually, Chiaki, may I try something?"

   Nanami turns to her. "Um, sure. Yeah, do whatever you want."

   The princess smiles shyly, taking Nanami's hands into hers, leaning across and pressing her lips against hers. Chiaki is startled for a second before kissing back eagerly. Sonia smiles against the shorter gamer, moving her arms to around her waist and pulling her closer.

   "I love you Nanami Chiaki."

   "I love you too, Sonia Nevermind."

   "Be my real girlfriend. Officially."

   "Of course. . .ah, does this mean I need to catch a golden Makango now?"

   The royal chuckles. "Do not worry, I will help you."

   ". . .In case I forget to mention it tomorrow morning, thank you for allowing me to visit your beautiful kingdom and stay in your castle. This entire place is amazing and I wish we didn't have to leave." Nanami says, curtsying in front of Sonia's parents.

   The Queen has a conflicted look on her face while the King beams at her. "We are glad you came over here. We look forward to having you again, and," He has a fond look in his eyes, "Thank you for making our daughter so happy."

   "I should be thanking you for having a daughter that makes me so amazingly happy." Nanami responds immediately, smiling shyly at her now-real girlfriend who grins back.

   "Come," Sonia invites, holding her hand out for Chiaki, "Let us go pack for our flight tomorrow."

   "I knew it." Are the first words out of Hinata's mouth as soon as Nanami and Nevermind get close enough. He and Komaeda (who got dragged along for the hell of it) are also here at the airport to pick them up and drive them back home.

   Nanami rolls her eyes playfully, practically hanging off of her beaming girlfriend's arm. "Shut up." She responds.

   Komaeda smiles. "I'm happy for you too. There is nothing more hopeful then two Ultimates coming together to form a wonderful, loving relationship. Especially when the two are absolutely perfect for each other." He tells the new couple sincerely. 

   Hinata shoots him a slight glare. "Hey! How come you never say that sort of stuff about our relationship?!" He protests.

   "Shut it, Reserve Course."

   "What. . .you. . .dick!"

   "You'll have to wait until we get back to your place for that, love."

   "Anyways," Nevermind interrupts finally, "Shall we be off? I desperately am in need of a shower and a long nap."

   ". . .Me too." Nanami yawns in agreement.

   Hinata nods, taking his boyfriend's hand. 

   "Got it. Let's get the new happy couple home."
