Chapter 18

Y/N's POV

I woke up in the morning to see the kitten sleeping on the sheets. I slowly stroked the kitten as his fur was super soft as if it was a furry pillow.

"I need to think of a name for you," I said to the kitten, who wasn't really paying much attention as he was wanted to sleep.

I got up and got ready for school. Before I left the dormitory I gave the kitten so milk, water, berries, and leftover rice that the kitten might eat since I didn't have cat food and would buy him some cat food today.

Ignoring the faint sounds of my name.

I was staring at my textbook but I was in my thoughts about the kitten until Mr Aizawa hit me on the head with the textbook.

"Pay attention and answer this question" he pointed to the board. "Answer it for the whole class"

"Umm...I don't know the answer" I answered. "Then pay attention and then you'll have known the answer" Mr Aizawa sighed and began to teach again I felt a bit red since most of my classmates were staring at me.

I don't like being in the spotlight because I hate it when people make fun of me when I answer a question wrong.

Once class was over I went to the cafeteria and got my f/f and sat next to Bakugo.

The people on the table, next to us, were Izuku, Uraraka, Todoroki, Iida, and Tsu.

I was so annoyed when I saw Uraraka as she fed some food to Izuku.

'Stop being so lovey-dovey around other people'

I quickly finished my food and was about to go to the vending machine to get a drink but Mina stopped me.

"Hey Y/N, wanna hang out with me in my room?"

"Sure" I quickly said. "Great"

As I started to walk away I realized what Mina had just asked me.

"Noo," I whined to myself as people looked at me with weird-looking faces as to what had happened.

I nervously chuckled and walked away a bit embarrassed.

As I got to the vending machine, I took a few yen out of my inside blazer pocket and put them in the coin slot.

After putting in the amount of coins I then pressed the button to get my drink.

Once the drink fell down, I grabbed it and was about to open it but then I saw Shinso.

"Hey, Shinso" I smiled at him as I walked towards him. "Oh hey Y/N"

We talked for a few minutes until he asked about the kitten.

"The kitten is doing great..and speaking of the kitten, wanna take care of him for a while? One of the girls invited me to her room to 'hang out' so yeah"

"Yeah I'd love to take care of him" he answered with a smile.

"Cool I'll drop him off at your dorm okay" Shinso nodded and we soon went to our destination.

I went back to the cafeteria with the drink still unopened in my hands.

As I sat down opposite to Bakugo because Kirishima took my space after I left, I opened my drink and was about to take my first sip but then I felt someone tap my shoulder.
