I pressed myself against the soft, warm pillow, willing it to become Scott. I tried hard not to cy, but the tears kept coming. I clutched the pillow even harder, trying to hold on to the little bit of sanity left inside me. "Stupid". "Stupid, Stupid, Stupid", my brain chanted. I never thought I would screw up this badly. It wasn't like me. But then again, I didn't know who I was anymore.
Which world was I in now? The present or the past? I had no idea. Everthing around me seemed like a confusing blur of color. I wondered if anyone could see me. Where was everyone? I tried to open my eyes, nothing seemed to make sense. I couldn't move a muscle.
I guess I had been warned of this. Time travel was not something to mess around with. Travelling between two dimensions was not child's play. I was all alone.

*Flashback*
"Child", an old lady called, through the pouring rain.
I turned around to make sure she was talking to me. She was. The street was deserted except for us.
"Do not do this", she exclaimed. Her icy voice frightened me. Was she onto me? "Do what?", I managed to call out innocently.
"This blasted time travel!", she burst out. "Enough, you will become insane if you carry on with this!"
"I-I d-don't-", I stuttered. "You are going against nature, against the will of God! Death awaits if you continue. You journey closer to the other world." shrieked the woman.
I had had enough. I stumbled backwards, slipping slightly on the water and ran as fast as I could. The lady did not follow.

I must be close to death. Or maybe I was headed to the "other world" the lady had spoken of. She was right all along. I should have taken her advice.
