Okay okay okay its 7:35 (pm) and I'm leaving for my friend's at 9ish so I'm going to try and speed write a HIGH QUALITY chapter that I can upload for you guys on Tuesday! Chapter 2/7 here we go!
Finn, Jasper, Monty, Octavia and I began walking into the woods. Octavia was around fifteen feet ahead of us, Finn was walking next to me, and Monty and Jasper were lingering a little further behind us. As soon as I stopped hearing the crunch of Monty and Jasper's footsteps I turned around, annoyed. A small smile stretched itself across my face when I saw the two of them admiring the vivid purple hue of a flower. Then I remembered, leaders can't show emotion. "Come on you two! The fate of the kids still alive at camp is on our shoulders. We can't let kids die of dehydration because we thought a flower was pretty!"
Jasper and Monty both looked up, embarrassed, and jogged to catch up with us. "Guys! Up here!" We all looked up to where Octavia was standing. She was perched on an upward tilting rock pointing to something just beyond a gap in a large wall of hedges. I ran up beside her and peered through the gap. Sure enough on the other side of the hedges there was a river. I high-fived Octavia then paused. "Uh.. only one problem..there's sort of a massive wall of greenery in between us and the river." Finn, Octavia and I all released a sigh in unison. Jasper was rummaging in his backpack for something.
"I got it!" He pulled out a large machete and puffed out his chest proudly. We all clapped and smiled as he stepped up to the hedges. He drew his arm above his head then launched a wild strike at the plant. A single leaf drifted to the floor. Even Monty couldn't control his laughter as Jasper handed the machete to Finn, defeated. Within a few minutes Finn had cut a large opening through the hedges. Octavia was the first to run towards the river. She began taking off her clothes, which left Monty and Jasper in awe.
"Octavia? What are you doing?!" She laughed and jumped into the water. "I'm swimming! Come on guys!" Finn nudged me and began to remove his shirt.
"OCTAVIA! GET OUT OF THE WATER!" Jasper screamed and ran towards where Octavia was happily bobbing in the current. He pointed a shaking finger towards a dark object moving towards her. She spun around and the joy instantly drained from her face. She began wildly thrashing in an attempt to get back to shore. All in a span of a few seconds the large snake-like monster dragged Octavia under and I found myself in the water. I forced myself to open my eyes under water. I saw curls of blood stretching from Octavia's thrashing body to the surface of the water. I swam towards her and grabbed her arm. I pulled with all my strength and it became a dangerous game of tug-of-war. A splash near the other side of the lake got the snake to let go of Octavia and swim over to investigate. That bought me a few seconds. I pushed her in front of me and onto shore. She clawed onto dry land and rolled onto her back, coughing up water. I pulled my upper half onto shore but was instantly tugged back down. I felt the monster's sharp teeth sink into my upper thigh. I let out a cry but it was muffled and my lungs filled with water. My head got light and everthing went black.

I woke up in a bed in a tent I had never seen before. The walls were a dark grey and the room has a certain musk to it. I shot straight up and flung my legs onto the floor. I knew exactly where I was. Dark and musky? The perfect atmosphere for- I looked down at the bed I had been laying in. I about threw up when I imagined all the girls Bellamy had messed around with in here. I stood up and immediately regretted doing so. My left leg burned and I closed my eyes. I leaned against one of the tent's supports and made the mistake of pushing the pads of my fingers on my temple. Another bolt of white-hot pain rattled me. The pain kept biting at my body in an unbearable throb. I risked passing out again and as I began to crash to the floor a pair of strong arms lifted me up and placed me back into bed. I gritted my teeth and looked up into Bellamy's soft brown eyes. "Why am I in your tent?" I questioned, risking angering him.
