(Ok so this is gonna be another sloppy story but just work with me I'm trying and writing this very early in the morning)

Illumis pov

I woke up this morning to the sunlight bearing directly into my eyes. I sat up in bed rubbing my eyes as I slowly slipped my legs out of bed. I turned my head to the nightstand that is by my bed and saw my phone. I grabbed it and started scrolling through important things like the weather and checked to see if I had any messages. Usually I dont since I dont really have any friends and in my family we dont really care to much about texting eachother we would much rather speak in person or not at all but that didn't bug me.

I was about to turn off my phone when I realized a new number in my messages appeared I tapped on it to see who would actually text me. But that message wasn't at all what I was expecting my eyes widened and I dropped my phone on my lap as I was trying to process what I just read.

Message: Illumi Zoldyck you have been summoned to the up coming ceremony this is held every year as it is very important and now that you are of age you will be joining us is in this special ceremony.

Now what ceremony you may ask this ceremony is when all angles who turn the age of 20 or over gather into this dom like place where it goes one angle at a time and they meet their... they meet their "mate" and you can skip this ceremony it's not a mandatory thing but its held every month and unless you want them to keep bugging you about it it's better to just go.

I decided to get out of bed and ready to start my day when my mother bursts into my room (I might not make illumis parents the bad guys in this story idk) "illumi dear I know all about the good news" I slightly get annoyed by the sudden intrusion into my room but I ignore it as I look up at my mother's smiling face "oh yes me to" I said as I got up walking into to the bathroom to brush my teeth but before I can even grab my toothbrush my mom pulls me into a tight embrace.

My wings perk up a bit at the sudden interaction until I feel my mother's wings slowly wrap around me and her light sobs. "Oh come on mom it's not that big of a deal you know that right" my mom only squeezes me tighter as she giggles slightly "I know son but it's just that you are becoming a man now and I'm not ready to let you go yet" I slightly blush at my mother's words "mom your over-reacting but dont worry I'll still always be your son" I said as I wrapped my arms around my mother.

"Ok but you finish getting ready breakfast will be ready by the time you are done" my mom said as she loosens her grip on me and walks out the bathroom so I can finish getting ready. Once I hear my room door close I grab my toothbrush rinsing it off a bit then grabbing the toothpaste and squeezing some on to the it. I put the toothbrush in my mouth swirling it around my mouth as I walk over to the shower turning the knob to the middle of the hot and cold, the water starts falling and I close the shower curtain and walk out the bathroom back to my room as I took my suit to wear for this special event and put it on my bed. I walked back into the bathroom spitting out the toothpaste in my mouth as I grabbed some mouth wash and poured some into my mouth, swirling it around my mouth then spitting it out. I rinsed my mouth out with cold water to ease the strong freshness of the mouth wash.

I grabbed then grabbed a my wash cloth to wash my face off with and wipe all the tooth paste and other things off my face. I then set it down once I fully wiped off my face and slowly started to strip from my clothes but as soon as I was only in my boxers I turned to face the mirror only to see terrible scars, bruises, and Mark's all over my body and why you may ask its because of my father he is an demon and one of the reasons I dont like demons he abused my whole family I usually am always the one getting hit because I try to protect my siblings and mother for my faters sudden lashes.

I continued to look at my body and at ever scar I have on my body and after a while I decided to take off the rest of my clothes and get in the shower.

                         Time skip

I walked downstairs fixing my tie as I did so I smell a delicious scent of bacon. I ran into the kitchen and saw my mom cooking and all my siblings sitting at the table my mom turns the stove off and moves the sizzling bacon to a different place on the stove. And turns around and walks towards me "You look good in your suit son" I looked down at my tie as I continued to fix it "thank you mom". "BIG BROTHER GOODMORNING" alluka said from her seat at the table "goodmorning alluka" I said as I walked to the table only to see killua running around the table, milluki on his phone  and kalluto asleep at the table.

I smiled at my family and my mother walked by me and started placing down plates of food. "killua stop running around the table and sit down, "milluki put your phone away and can you please wake up kalluto". Killua and sat down milluki put his phone away and I woke up kalluto and then sat down. "Thanks mama" milluki said "thank you mommy" alluka said "thanks mom" kalluto said  "thank you" killua said "thanks mom the food looks delicious" I said  "your welcome now let's eat" my mom said as she sat down at the table.

             Time skip after breakfast

I put my dishes in the sink as my mom was cleaning up milluki was in the living room watching tv while killua alluka and kalluto were all chasing eachother around the house. "Ok mom it's time for me to go" when I said that my mom froze "are you ok mo-" but before I could finish I was wrapped in a tight hug and my mom broke out in tears. "Mom what's wrong" I said worriedly my mom only wrapped her arm around me tighter.

"Oh its nothing I'm just so proud of you you've become such a great man and I'm not ready to see you go yet" I slightly started to tear  up "oh come on mom" I said "its true illumi I am very proud of you, oh wait I'm about to make you late so go head out the door" I smiled as I hugged my mom tightly before pulling away and running to the door "BYE BIG BROTHER" I heard all my siblings say in sync "I'll be back soon" I said as I walked out the door and closed it.

I breathed in the fresh air then took out my keys and locked the door.

Oooooooh are we heading somewhere darling~
