"miles?" judith splurts out in surprise, stumbling back in shock. asher sighs, walking closer to where they're standing.
"what are you doing here miles?"
miles give his once bestfriend a smirk "just here for the party, i come every year."
"well you would think its obvious you couldn't come this year." minx says turning to niki and alex a few feet away.
"yeah. now leave." karl says, glaring at the smug douchebag and holding jude so she doesn't fall. "ill be honest i already forgot who this guy is." tubbo says to the group of friends who just got here a few hours ago, causing wilbur and ranboo to shush him.
"oh are you telling me to leave karl? can't i have a conversation with dear judy here."
"no no no leave im not doing this today." alex says, slowly walking closer to where miles is along with clay.
"oh really quackity? you're not doing this?" miles responds, looking at him with a raised eyebrow.
his words make niki, minx, alex, and karl freeze. oh yeah, so its not just karl who's lying. they never told jude they were twitch streamers and youtubers.
"whats a quackity?" jude speaks up for the first time in a while, looking over to alex from in karl's arms.
"oh you don't know?" her ex boyfriend replies, looking over all of the streamers. even to where clay has moved to hide within the crowd.
the parts of the puzzle suddenly snap together in the youtubers who had to leave early's heads and they realize they never told her. unlike when they originally planned to on christmas.
"don't know what?" judith asks, scooting away from a guilty looking karl and looking at an equally guilty looking niki, minx, and alex.
"your dear friends alex, karl, niki, and minx here are famous youtubers. they're also twitch streamers!" miles explains to his ex happily, wrapping an arm around her shoulder.
it's so quiet you could hear a pin drop. all of the people that left early look at the ones who stayed in disappointment as it's confirmed they never told her. even tubbo, who can normally be pretty joyful and oblivious can notice they did something wrong.
"listen we can explain-" karl starts to walk towards jude only to be cut off by miles.
"also correct me if i'm mistaken but karl don't you live in north carolina and you know, not go to college?"
